Excursão Privada de Um Dia à Cachoeira Tumpak Sewu e à Vila Jodipan

Traffic was very heavy that day so we started earlier and ended later than scheduled. Despite that, we still had a lot of fun with our guide, Trista, and her dad (our driver) the whole time! The colourful village was beautiful and the views at Tumpak Sewu were almost unreal. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting.

I had an incredible experience on this tour. The guides, Evan and local guide at Sewu Waterfall, were not only knowledgeable but also super friendly and accommodating. They shared many interesting information, helped out whenever needed, and even took amazing photos for us. The places we visited were beautiful and well-chosen, and the lunch provided was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect mix of exploration, relaxation, and fun. Overall, I highly recommend this tour—everything was well-organized, Evan and the local guide at Sewu Waterfall truly made the experience unforgettable.

Our tour guide was lovely, a university student who helped us with photos and communicating with locals. The Sewu Waterfall scenery is beautiful.

The tour destination itself is awesome and a must see if you are in Surabaya or Malang. The waterfall is breathtaking - just be prepared for a serious hike down the near vertical cliff on steep steps/ stairs. The village is a slump turned attractions due to local university community service project and is definitely worth visiting. The guide contacted us the day before and suggested pick up at 5 instead of 6, giving the reason for the sun and the crowd. He also suggested to flip the itinerary to go to the waterfall first and the village next. While it work out well, we wonder why the advertised version then? Due to the change in the itinerary, we also ended up having lunch at a different restaurant as planned. We have no problem with that and the place was nice and the food was fantastic. But it was a near 1-hour drive after we left the waterfall - would have been better if we can rest for meal sooner after the tiring hike. The guide reminded us about the shorts, flipflops and change of cloth at 4am by text - and we should have paid attention to this as well since it is on the website. Advise: flipflop is totally not suitable - just rent a water shoe onsite for 20k. Change of cloths preferably whole set and not just the tops - we were soaking wet after the trip. Lastly, protective for phone is necessary if it is not waterproof.

Booked the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and Jodipan Village tour via Klook with Arya and had an amazing experience! My mum has knee problems and Arya was soo patient to support her down the steep slopes and to wait with her while I went down to the waterfalls. He is very attentive and considerate to our needs and speaks great English. Our driver (sorry I forgot his name!) was very steady and patient, the hours in the car was seamless and comfortable. The tour destinations were absolutely worth it - I didn't expect the glass bridge experience at Jodipan.

La caminata hasta la base de la cascada fue una experiencia increíble. La vista desde la cima era absolutamente impresionante y hizo que el esfuerzo valiera completamente la pena. Nuestro guía turístico fue muy servicial e hizo el viaje agradable y seguro. El almuerzo también fue una grata sorpresa, delicioso y satisfactorio después de la caminata. ¡Altamente recomendado!

I highly recommend the guided tour of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall! First and foremost, the waterfall is incredibly grand and spectacular; experiencing it firsthand is truly breathtaking, so I strongly advise everyone to visit Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Furthermore, the local guide was very responsible and knew many unique photo spots that only local waterfall guides would know. He showed me many different photo opportunities, helping me capture a variety of unique pictures. I especially want to commend my guide, Xiao Ying. Her pick-up and drop-off were very punctual, and she shared many stories about local Indonesians, which gave me a deeper understanding of a different side of Indonesia. Xiao Ying didn't just guide me through the waterfall; she also deepened my appreciation for Indonesia, making it a truly memorable guided experience.

Teman-teman saya dan saya pergi ke air terjun Tumpak Sewu dan desa pelangi bersama Akram. Dia sangat fleksibel dengan waktu. Mobil yang digunakan untuk perjalanan itu nyaman untuk kami bertiga. Mas Nanang, pemandu wisata lokal di air terjun Tumpak Sewu memiliki keterampilan fotografi yang luar biasa. Dia mengambil foto-foto kami yang menakjubkan. Akram sangat ramah dan berpengetahuan luas. We went to the Sewu Waterfall, and were amazed by the spectacular view. We were lucky to have our guide, Rizky, who helped and assisted us throughout the journey. We felt very well looked after, and he was always on hand to suggest photo opportunities. He also has good skills in taking photos. He spoke perfect English, so communication was never an issue. Highly recommended.

My guide, Hirman, and driver, Mr G, made this tour an exceptional experience from start to finish. Hirman is an experienced guide who speaks excellent English, was proactive in reaching out before the trip, and was incredibly punctual for the pickup. We started with Tumpak Sewu, which was absolutely mesmerising and is a must-see when visiting the Surabaya area. Despite the heavy traffic caused by the Hari Raya Haji long weekend, Mr G navigated the roads skillfully and safely, ensuring a smooth journey throughout. Their professionalism, reliability, and local knowledge truly complemented the entire experience.
