It is strongly recommended that the title clearly state that the sunrise viewing is not at the summit of Mount Batur, to avoid misunderstanding! Also, the final coffee plantation visit could be removed; it would deduct 30 points from a 100-point coffee tour, feeling like the forced consumption on a tour bus. Overall, it was very good. The shuttle driver was punctual, and the guide was enthusiastic and meticulous. In addition to introducing the mountain scenery, the explanation of the temples visited on the way down and the gods of Bali was also excellent!

We also learned a bit of their culture and traditions during our conversation with them 👍 The Hike: For the sunrise view. We woke up and start our travel around 2AM from Ubud. It takes more or less 1.5 travel time. We started our hike and reach the rest stop at around 4:30AM (too early for the sunrise), so we decided to pass the time at one of the made-up shed. The view at the top was great. Lot's of sea of clouds and you can see other Mts as well such as MtRinjani & MtAgung. The hike itself was just a short one and not that difficult. But be prepared as part of the trail is rocky and made of lose rocks. Be careful especially when going down. Overall, it was a great experience to do when in Bali.

If you have a trip to Bali, I will totally recommend this be a part of. I'm really thankful for my guide Endrik, she is so professional and patient. Always take care of my safe and introducing the Volcano, which makes this trip perfect.

The view was really nice. Beware though that this route seems to be different from the more popular route, as one is Mount Batur and this one is Mount Batur Caldera. The guide’s English could use some improvement though.

It was an amazing experience visiting Mount Batur. The sunrise and lake there are really beautiful. I highly recommend this tour! Also, a special thank you to our driver, Mr. Nata (tel: +62 877-6695-6432), and tour guide, Mr. Ari Nata (Jeroarinata). They did a great job with safe driving in a comfortable car, full knowledge, and professional hiking skills. They were so kind and helped us take many beautiful photos. Highly recommended.

It was a great mountain climbing trip, waking up at 2:00 AM was definitely worth it. This trip wasn't to climb Mount Batur, but a mountain located between Mount Agung and Mount Batur. The path was more difficult than expected, especially before dawn, with a steep ascent for 50 minutes. However, our guide, Mr. Arinata, was very kind and helped us along the way! When we reached the summit, the breakfast prepared by our guide was also very rich. The boat ride back was also interesting, and Lake Batur was even more spectacular. It was a very unforgettable journey!

Terima kasih banyak kepada Driver Respi (pertama kalinya saya bertemu pengemudi wanita di Bali dan dia sangat mahir menghadapi kondisi jalan menuju Kintamani dan jalan-jalan kecil). Dia fasih berbahasa Inggris. Tidak pernah bosan di dalam mobil dan dia menemani saya ke air terjun bersama.Kedua, untuk Gunung Batur, pemandu Wayan Suartika sangat siap dengan 2 tongkat hiking untuk saya gunakan, memandu sesuai dengan kecepatan saya menuju puncak. Dia luar biasa dan sangat mencintai pekerjaannya mendaki gunung, dia sangat berpengetahuan tentang Gunung-gunung di Bali.Saya memiliki kenangan indah menyaksikan matahari terbenam di Gunung Batur.

El conductor, John, es muy amable y se esforzó al máximo para que llegáramos al hotel a tiempo. El guía turístico, Arinata, también es muy amable. Su técnica fotográfica es excelente y está dispuesto a ayudarnos a tomar muchísimas fotos de alta calidad de forma activa. La parte a pie del recorrido es bastante dura, un poco empinada. Pero después de ver la impresionante vista desde la cima de la colina, definitivamente vale la pena.

If you're up for an adventure and a challenge, I highly recommend the overnight stay. It was very cold at night, so bring warm clothing, but the sunset, night sky, and sunrise were worth the camp! (Do note that you have to be lucky to catch both sunset and sunrise).
