We had a very enjoyable time learning how to make Yakgwa with Stella. Her studio is very neat and cozy. She is also generous enough to share her own unique Chestnut-filled Yakgwa Cookie recipe. It came out really good, probably the best most delicious yakgwa we have eaten. I'm pretty sure we can make it at home. We also each took home a beautiful bag of boxed Yakgwa that we made in class. J'ai suivi un cours d'une journée où j'ai appris à faire des biscuits de style coréen avec du yakgwa. Ce fut une expérience vraiment amusante ! L'instructeur était gentil et très amical, et les desserts se sont avérés absolument délicieux. L'ambiance était charmante – on pouvait voir de beaux grands arbres à travers les grandes fenêtres, et l'endroit était très propre. J'ai vraiment apprécié cette activité, et elle m'a semblé très significative. J'ai même rapporté les biscuits à la maison pour mon père, et il les a tellement aimés !

This experience was absolutely perfect. Estella was incredibly sweet and welcoming. I was the only participant that day, but that was no problem at all for her. She made me feel completely at ease from the very start. She was very patient and shared wonderfully detailed information about the cookies and each step of the process. It honestly felt less like a class and more like visiting a friend to bake cookies together. The atmosphere was warm, open, and relaxed, with lovely conversations while working on the cookies. You can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into every detail of this experience. A truly wonderful and memorable activity. I highly recommend it!

Our family had a fantastic experience with Estella! Her attention to detail from the moment we walked in the door to leaving with our elegantly wrapped and delicious cookies was first class. The studio was clean and bright, she showed genuine interest in our experience and the finished product was so beautiful we want to give them all away! I would definitely recommend this class and it will easily be one of our highlights from our visit!

Such a lovely class! Spotlessly clean and tidy, very relaxing environment. Making traditional cakes has been so much fun.

In Estella's baking class, I learned how to refine traditional honey-soaked cookies with a contemporary touch. While the chestnut paste filling adds a smooth texture, its rice flour coating glazed in honey with a mini Yakgwa cookie on top, decorated by a shining sugar pearl, makes each one an attractive piece of artwork for one's taste buds and beyond. Each one is separately packed into a pastry box with a transparent lid, then beautifully decorated with a sticker before being placed into a present box. I was able to share those beautifully arranged Yakgwas, baked together with Estella, two days later in my summer school class during a farewell session, and they ran out quickly :))). Thank you, Estella, for sharing not only your knowledge and skill, but also your time and kindness, while enthusiastically exchanging your personal life and work experiences with me. I also learned something about the working culture in Korea. The Yakgwa are now gone for good, but the sweet memories will last :).

My husband and I went together and had a great time. The instructor taught us well and had such a good personality that we felt comfortable and had a lot of fun. Since they're good at English, I'd like to recommend them to my foreign friends too!

We had a wonderful time making a modern fusion version of the Yakgwa cookie. Estella was very kind and since there were just the three of us in the class it felt like a very personal experience. The cookies were delicious and we each got to take home our beautifully decorated cookies in a souvenir box. This was a memorable experience which I would recommend!
