My first makeup lesson was such a pleasant surprise! I was worried about typical “hard sell”, but there was zero pressure here. My makeup artist, Sonia, speaks fluent English and was so attentive. She started with a thorough skin analysis and picked out products that perfectly matched my skin tone and face shape. I even got a “full sized” product set at the end, such a great deal! Afterward, I could shop for extras at a discount on the 2nd floor without any pushy sales tactics. Highly recommend if you want a chill and professional experience.

Such a fun and informative class. Both the main instructor and assistant makeup artist were helpful and patient. Went with 2 girlfriends and it was such a fun event.

The class was super worth it. The instructor was really good, spoke in English, and the fees are worth the money spent on the class.

J'ai réservé cette expérience de maquillage via Klook très facilement. Quand je suis arrivée, je n'avais pas réalisé que c'était une expérience individuelle et j'ai été agréablement surprise ! J'ai eu mon analyse de peau qui était bien plus approfondie que ce à quoi je m'attendais. J'ai trouvé la teinte de mon fond de teint et mes couleurs de maquillage complémentaires. J'ai appris toutes les étapes, de la préparation de la peau au mascara. Sonia était la meilleure. Elle m'a aidée à me sentir à l'aise tout de suite et elle m'a permis d'en apprendre davantage sur la façon de me maquiller en fonction de la forme de mon visage et de la couleur de ma peau. J'ai souvent eu du mal à trouver une teinte de fond de teint qui corresponde réellement, et Sonia l'a trouvée du premier coup. Ce que j'ai vraiment aimé, c'est que j'ai réellement appris à appliquer le maquillage moi-même. Sonia me montrait comment appliquer le maquillage d'un côté, et je l'appliquais de l'autre. Et si je me trompais, elle était très gentille et le corrigeait immédiatement pour moi. Les produits inclus dans le forfait étaient bien plus nombreux que ce à quoi je m'attendais et le pourcentage de réduction supplémentaire en magasin était un énorme bonus.

My makeup artist was Dominic, highly recommend! He did everything, like EVERYTHING. He removed my makeup, followed by shaping my brows (i.e., tweezing the stray hairs, cleaning up the shape of my brows), then skincare and recommended products that would best suit my skin type, as well as how to apply them. He did a FULL COVERAGE, FULL BEAT face for me (I only came in wearing skin tint, blush, and eyeliner, but I left with additional eyeshadow, contour, highlight, mascara, aegyosal). He really went above and beyond. I bought the products he recommended and now apply the techniques and tips he used for my makeup to my daily makeup. If you can request Dominic, I highly, highly recommend him!

It was an amazing experience! The consultants were nice and professional. I feel like I have learned a lot. At first we learned what color of makeup suits us the best according to our eye color. We learned how to mix different colors of concealer with foundation to hide imperfections and how to use different makeup products. Since my eyes are a bit different shape, the consultant even stayed with me after the class and gave me advice on eyeliner and mascara. Would recommend for anyone who doesn't feel confident in their makeup skills.

Jenna me atendió y fue súper súper amable y profesional. Hablaba un inglés excelente (así que no hubo ninguna barrera idiomática) y fue muy paciente al guiarme y enseñarme. Todos los productos utilizados parecían de muy alta calidad y me encantó que se tomara el tiempo de explicarme qué eran los productos y cómo usarlos mejor. ¡Incluso me recomendó algunos restaurantes cercanos para probar! En general, una muy buena experiencia para alguien que tiene poco o ningún conocimiento/experiencia en maquillaje.

Jungsaemmool 101에서 메이크업 아티스트 Rosie와 함께 정말 좋은 경험을 했습니다. 그녀는 매우 친절하고 상냥했으며, 실력도 훌륭했습니다. 그녀는 자신이 하는 일을 설명하는 데 시간을 할애했고, 제가 기술을 이해했는지 확인했으며, 모든 질문에 참을성 있게 답변해 주었습니다. 컬러 분석 기계는 흥미로웠지만, 결과가 100% 정확하지 않을 수 있어 특별히 인상 깊지는 않았습니다. 하지만 Rosie의 개인적인 조언을 통해 오히려 더 잘 맞는 것을 찾았습니다 😄 갑작스러운 폭우로 인해 예약 시간보다 훨씬 일찍 도착했고, 성수동 주변에서 쇼핑하려던 계획을 취소했기 때문에, 팀은 매우 협조적이었고 아티스트가 가능해지자마자 저를 바로 넣어주었습니다. 패키지 할인은 가치가 있었고, 나중에 쇼핑하는 데 잘 활용했습니다. 전반적으로 즐겁고 전문적인 경험이었습니다. 추천합니다!

I was able to reschedule the day before to a later time by emailing them. But I don't think they really care about the time for the group class/makeup lesson. I arrived 10 minutes late and was paired with a free sales associate who helped me find my shade and showed me how to do Korean base makeup (toner, moisturizer, foundation, lots of patting with the cushion). She was really helpful and spoke some English. You get a free foundation cushion, cushion case, and some mini-size products with the lesson. I bought some products and got even more freebies, which included a mini foundation and blush. You get 20% off their products and they can do the tax refund there if you bring your passport. Overall, I learned a lot about Korean makeup! It was super helpful to get paired with someone 1:1. Would recommend!

I discovered the Jung Saem Mool skin nuder cushion at KCon in LA. I wanted to explore more of the JSM line, so this class seemed like the perfect way to gain some new makeup skills while getting to try tailored JSM product choices for me. Sonia was my instructor and was amazing! She answered all my questions, asked me about the look I was trying to achieve, and helped me learn how to apply my makeup with the JSM style and technique. I also received a packed bag of goodies and put my 20% discount to good use. I would highly recommend this experience if you are interested in JSM products and want to build/learn your K-beauty makeup repertoire.
