Luna Halong Day Cruise: Baía de Ha Long, Sung Sot, Ti Top

Initially, I was hesitant because there weren't as many reviews as for other services, but after experiencing the cruise and the service, I was completely convinced that the service was the best. The food was excellent, it felt like a 5-star service, and the pick-up was seamless.

The Luna Cruise was overall a comfortable experience — the seating and facilities on board were good, and the views of Ha Long Bay were truly beautiful. The buffet was decent with a fair variety, though not exceptional. However, one drawback I noticed was that kayaking wasn’t included in the package and required an extra payment of 150,000 VND. Additionally, the time allotted for kayaking was only 30 minutes, which felt quite short.

Such a well organised and fun day. Easy hotel pick up in Hanoi with awesome communication via WhatsApp. On time and every step of process was communicated. At Ha Long Bay we were met by another guide for our boarding into the Luna boat. No breakfast provided as stated, so eat or take food. The boat was large, clean and very comfortable. The staff all amazing!! So warm, friendly and efficient. The trip onto HaLong Bay is beautiful. Such amazing scenery, definitely worth visiting. The activities were good but very crowded and the kayaking did cost extra (it wasn’t included). The food was delicious and well presented with lots of variety. Best tip: pay extra for a cabin on the boat. The boat is large and has lots of tour groups that in our experience were loud and overbearing. A cabin gave us some peaceful respite with our own balcony and a clean bathroom!! (IYKYK!!).

The cruise crew was friendly and professional. The handling agent, Ms. Sophia of Victory Era Travel, was excellent. She followed up and responsibly took care of the minor transportation hiccups we experienced.

Transfer was good. Driver used Google Translate to communicate. Easy enough. The cruise was good. Seats/dining tables were allocated so you didn't have to fight for a seat. Selection of food was good too, but mostly catered to local tastes. Note: bring your own drinks. The cruise charged for drinks including water at international prices. Prices also varied based on time of day. It was more expensive in the afternoon but sold at "buy one get one free". In my country, this would be considered misleading and deceptive practice.

Service: good, the driver was cheerful and enthusiastic, and the meal on the boat was delicious.

They should organize the buffet better, maybe with time slots or clearer lines to avoid crowding. Announcements need to be clearer, and tour guides should remind guests about activities. It would help to have instructions in English for international tourists. Staff should be more helpful and responsive when guests ask questions. Better coordination during departure is needed to avoid confusion with transport. Lastly, they should limit the number of guests to improve the overall experience.
