We took the limited express (non-reserved seats) from Matsuyama to Uchiko, and in Uchiko Town, we visited the Gokoku Traditional Building Preservation Area: admiring a cluster of Edo to Taisho era buildings spanning about 600 meters, with many old houses converted into art galleries and shops. Kamihaga Residence (Wood Wax Museum): Learn about the history of the wood wax industry and visit the wealthy merchant's residence and garden. (Tickets required, discounts available with a boarding pass). Uchiko Machiya Museum: Experience machiya life and traditional crafts. Uchiko-za is currently partially under renovation, so we did not visit it. Also, be mindful of train schedules; it's best to take a photo of the return train schedule when you exit the station for a smooth trip.

Started my day from matsuyama to Uchiko, and in the afternoon headed to Ozu its very small so you can cover that up in the afternoon and wish i could have taken the 16h21 train which is a local train and stops at Shimonada station to view and experience the sunset by the beach station, but i came late and missed it. so a good deal if you plan to do Uchiko in the morning and Ozu in the afternoon

內子和大洲都是很特別的地方，跟熱門觀光區很不同。先說說內子，到訪時內子座正在維修中，但仍有一少部分可以參觀（要付費），職員也很用心解說。八日市護國街區很美，如果有更多町家能進內參觀就更好了。 大洲主要是參觀大洲城，它是現時最大用木材重建的天守，在遠處看就很有氣勢了，加上盛開的櫻花更是美不勝收。比較可惜是城下町不太繁華。 說回這個周遊券，使用非常簡單，只要啟用後出示給職員就可以。缺點是列車班次比較少（星期日），要好好規劃行程。而且市內好像沒有巴士到主要景點，要走好一段路。 這次沒時間，希望下次可以去依予長濱。

Especially for those planning to visit Shimonada… the train intervals are truly awful and there are so many people… I gave up on Uchiko and went there, but as soon as the train pulled into the station, over 50 people immediately pointed their cameras at the train… I felt like a celebrity… In the end, I didn't get off and went straight to Matsuyama Station… If your goal is the sea, I recommend Baishinji as an alternative. I went there too, and I think it's much quieter and better! There's also a spot where the train passes, which is a great photo opportunity! Anyway, if you do buy it, I recommend focusing on Uchiko and Iyo-Ozu! Plan well and I hope you all have a pleasant trip! I think my trip was a failure because I didn't plan well!! Haha. / As a side note, places like Ozu Castle and Garyu Sanso in Iyo-Ozu were great! But keep in mind that they are not very large in scale!
