This place is relatively expensive, so it's mostly frequented by foreigners, and it's more convenient because it provides body wash and shampoo. You'll need to bring your own hand towel and bath towel. There's one indoor pool and a small semi-outdoor pool. If you go to Tsubaki-no-Yu, they don't provide body wash or shampoo, and you have to buy them separately. In fact, the total cost ends up being about the same as Asuka-no-Yu Onsen. Tsubaki-no-Yu is too crowded, and it only has one pool. This place (Asuka-no-Yu) has more locals, but also many foreigners, so it can feel more crowded inside.

I love the atmosphere here, it's especially ceremonial. I've been to many hot springs ♨️, and I feel that the sense of ceremony here is very special, and the service is also very kind and thoughtful. I think sitting together on the outdoor platform, being served tea 🍵 and snacks 🥧, and being handed a fan 🪭, makes you feel very much at home. Moreover, everyone chats softly and politely, so it's not noisy. I love the yukata experience here; it's very relaxing to soak in the autumn and enjoy a peaceful, complete rest for body and mind 😌. I will definitely visit again next time.

When using Dogo Onsen in Matsuyama, Japan, it was great to be able to enjoy the hot springs, rent a yukata, and have refreshments with this admission ticket, allowing for a leisurely time both in and after the hot springs. Rather than just enjoying the hot springs, it was nice to also have tea time, take photos in a yukata in a traditional Japanese tatami lounge, and experience hot spring culture. The Korean guidance was very convenient!

Don't worry about language barriers... the staff very kindly used a translation device to explain important matters regarding the hot spring facility... Although it was the public bath on the first floor, it was very comfortable... After bathing, a cup of tea and a small snack were provided...

This voucher allows you to choose a private tatami room on the second floor of Asuka-no-Yu for relaxation and to change into a yukata. Although the hot spring bathing area is in the large public bath on the first floor, after your bath, you can return to the second floor to enjoy Japanese sweets and tea. It's a perfect place to unwind and relax.

The owner is very kind and understanding, even if you arrive a little late. The hot spring water quality is excellent, the facilities are complete, and there's a night view and cookies to enjoy.

道後温泉のつもりでチケットを購入したら飛鳥の湯チケットを購入していました。こじんまりとしたサイズ感のお風呂が良かったです。朝6:00の開浴時に大行列している道後温泉本体でなくても、十分満足できました。半露天の温泉がプライベート入浴感がありめちゃめちゃチルタイムを満喫しました。プロジェクションマッピングの投影もありました。けして派手な演出はなく、昔話を観るようなほのぼのとした気分に浸れます。道後温泉のハシゴ酒ならぬハシゴ湯するならオススメです。私は6:30〜7:30の入湯でした。あまり混んでなかったのでラッキーでした。

The perceived temperature on the day of arrival was -10 degrees Celsius, which was quite cold. The hot spring arrangements were excellent. I don't speak English or Japanese, but the staff patiently assisted me and used a translation device to explain things. It was a wonderful experience. I can truly recommend it; the second-floor space is even better and more comfortable.
