Excursão Wai-O-Tapu & Polynesian Spa Rotorua

Meeting at Sky Tower before 6 AM. I arrived almost on time, and since I couldn't understand English well, I confirmed the meeting times with the guide each time. I thought it would be difficult to go to Waiotapu alone, as the geysers and bubbling mud pools are spread out. The green hot tub and Champagne Pool were a strange sight, and I was able to walk around in about an hour. The Polynesian Spa wasn't crowded, and I enjoyed relaxing while looking at the beautiful scenery. People from various countries, including Germany, India, America, and Japan, participated.

We were able to explore the core areas of Rotorua comfortably and enjoyably. Our local guide, John, helped us navigate with ease and provided a wealth of information. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Rotorua and the Waiotapu Polynesian Spa.

It was a pleasure to embark on this invigorating and relaxing journey on a clear day. Besides marveling at the natural wonders brought by volcanoes and geothermal activity, the additional forest walk through the trees and the final picturesque hot springs and lake views truly washed away the physical and mental exhaustion from the long journey.

The tour group that departed at 6 AM on November 24th enjoyed beautiful scenery along the way. Our professional and humorous tour guide explained a lot about New Zealand's Maori culture and even prepared snacks and bottled water for us – thank you to him! We experienced a New Zealand-style hot spring (the weather was good, it was pleasant and relaxing, though we felt the price was a bit high). This trip was very enjoyable.

Everyone's itinerary was a bit different, but the tour guide's time management was acceptable. Waiotapu felt a bit rushed; in the future, it's recommended to split into different groups for tours, at least separating Waiotapu and Te Puia, so it's not as rushed. The pick-up and service were both excellent 👌

It was really great. Our Caucasian tour guide, Jason, took excellent care of us two tourists from China. He took many beautiful photos for us, and the itinerary was also arranged perfectly. Thank you!

Went for a Waiotapu & Polynesian Spa at Rotorua tour from Auckland with Jamie as the tour guide. Although the journey was far, the destinations were wonderful. Time allocated for both places were adequate to enjoy. Water and snack was also provided which was great. There were also stops for toilet and coffee. For the spa, we were on deluxe spa
