1. Nancy, our driver for the early morning pickup, was very lively and humorous. Although the journey was long, it was very pleasant throughout. 2. The Hobbiton Movie Set tour bus plays an introductory video, and the park also provides a QR code to download a multi-language audio guide, which is very clear. 3. The tour guide was very detailed in their explanations and extremely knowledgeable about the movie's content and filming specifics. You can enter and visit several hobbit holes, which are exquisitely decorated inside. Before leaving, you can enjoy a complimentary drink at the pub. As one section of the park was undergoing renovation (which didn't significantly impact the experience), we received a beautiful cup as compensation before we left. 4. The Waitomo Glowworm Caves tour guide first introduced the stalactites, then led everyone on a boat ride to admire the glowworms emitting green light – a spectacular sight! 5. Photography is not allowed inside the cave. Upon entering the park, staff will help take and composite photos, and if you wish to keep them as souvenirs, you can purchase them at the gift shop before leaving.

We had an amazing time yesterday at the Hobbiton Movie Set and the glow worm caves. Even if you haven't watched the movie, like most of those who joined the tour, you'll still have a good time. Hobbiton is so beautiful. We had a good time with our driver Raymond from Auckland and Beyond Tours. He shared a lot of information about NZ. The tour was worth it.

The tour is very helpful for trip planning. Hobbiton and Waitomo Glowworm are packed into a one-day tour, which can save a lot of time. The tour guide is very friendly and nice, willing to help in any aspect and tried to provide suggestions for our trip on other days. Hobbiton is very beautiful and stunning; however, it was a rainy day when we visited. We experienced a rainy day in Hobbiton. The glowworm tour is short, including a walkway and a boat trip. The cave is spacious, and there aren't that many glowworms. They are at a distance when seen from the boat with a group of people.

This small group day tour allowed my husband and I to enjoy a hassle-free holiday. The tour guide/driver managed the travel time so we had enough time to enjoy breakfast and lunch. The Hobbiton movie set and Waitomo Glowworm Cave are definitely worth visiting. We really enjoyed the trip and took lots of photos.

It was a good tour. In Hobbiton, we were able to see the lovely village set. The interior was also intricately decorated and very cute, making it feel like we had stepped into a picture book world. In Waitomo, we saw glowworms shining like a starry sky inside the caves, which was very beautiful.

This tour departed from Auckland at 6 AM. Perhaps because it wasn't peak season, there were only three of us, making it almost a private tour. The tour vehicle was a 10-seater (excluding the driver and co-driver seats), so it was very spacious. Our driver, Raymond, was very friendly and gave a brief introduction to the day's itinerary when we boarded. As it was still early and the drive from Auckland Sky City Hotel was two and a half hours, we could catch up on sleep in the car. Nearing Hobbiton, Raymond introduced the background of Hobbiton and led us to board another tour bus arranged by the park for a guided tour. Our guide, Emma, was friendly and dedicated, enthusiastically introducing Hobbiton despite the heavy rain. It was a pity that due to the rain, we couldn't stay outdoors for too long. If you're a fan of the Hobbit movies, you'll definitely be satisfied. Finally, after the tour, there were complimentary drinks. As a bonus, the park was undergoing maintenance and optimization work, so each person received a commemorative cup after the tour. Later, we visited the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. I had seen online introductions and it seemed worth a visit, but unfortunately, due to the rain, the small boat couldn't complete the full tour, which was a shame.

Attractions along the way: The natural landscape of New Zealand, with beautiful mountains and natural scenery, fills the journey to Hobbiton and the return trip. Tour guide: Very clear in leading the tour, time management was just right. Group size: Just right, comfortable seating.

Tour guide: Andy was really kind and the arrangements were excellent! He told us many little stories along the way. Attractions along the way: He took us to see the dam on the way, and finally took us for ice cream. The quality of the small group tour was great. Itinerary: The timing was just right, and we had plenty of time to visit attractions and take photos. Group size: 11-seater van, our group had 7 people.

The meeting spot at Sky City Hotel is easy to find, our tour guide Raymond has been very helpful and briefed us through about the trip. The slightly foggy weather actually added to the atmosphere for our Hobbiton Movie Set visit. The Hobbiton is really worth the visit! The whole place is well preserved, and being able to get into one of the hobbit holes was just amazing. There are two lovely cafeterias which served nice food and good coffee as well. The glowworm cave is a little smaller than expected, but the scenic inside is beautiful. We enjoyed the tour very much overall!
