05-27 Badaling Night Tour with Tour Guide Liu Fang. My sister and I felt incredibly satisfied that we could join this tour led by Liu Fang on our first day in Beijing. Tour Guide Liu is a very conscientious, enthusiastic, and professional guide. Besides meticulously explaining things to us, she also shared many other travel experiences, allowing us to form a deep and unforgettable impression of Beijing on our very first day. If we come to Beijing again, Tour Guide Liu Fang will be our top choice. Five-star praise, absolutely no exaggeration. Badaling is definitely worth visiting!

On May 26th, our tour guide was Liu Fang. A single admission ticket costs 198 RMB, and the group tour is the same price, but it also includes round-trip bus transportation and a professional guide. I think it's highly recommendable! We gathered at 4 PM and departed on time, arriving at the Badaling Great Wall around 6:30 PM, which allowed us to take some daytime photos. The lights came on at 7:20 PM, and the sun set at 7:30 PM, so we also took some beautiful night photos. The most important thing is that there were very few people, so we didn't have to squeeze through crowds, and the photos turned out even better! It gets cool on the mountain at night, so remember to bring a windbreaker. We took the cable car up and walked down, which was very easy. It costs an additional 100 RMB per person, and WeChat transfers are not possible (to the guide), so remember to bring cash!

The guide was very kind. Even though they couldn't communicate in English, they tried their best to take care of us throughout the trip. It's advisable to depart on time as scheduled and provide a WeChat number for the guide to contact you easily. The car was well-driven, polite, and not old. Traveling at night was much cooler and more comfortable than during the day. We got beautiful photos of the sunset view. This is a better option for visiting the Great Wall in the summer.

The tour guide was very fun and friendly; she went above and beyond to introduce the place and even shared some of her favorite local spots and tips, which was greatly appreciated. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

The weather was great, not hot at all, and the views were beautiful. We enjoyed the sunset and the night lights were stunning. There was a show, and the guide provided excellent service and care. This trip does not include the cable car up the Great Wall, but you can inform the guide if you wish to purchase it for 100 RMB (for the ascent only). The pick-up and drop-off service was punctual and the vehicle was clean. Bottled water was available for purchase on the bus.

The Badaling Great Wall is truly beautiful and worth visiting. A night tour allows you to take in both the daytime and nighttime views of the Great Wall, making for an excellent itinerary 🌟. The drive takes about an hour and a half. Upon arrival, you'll need to pay 100 RMB for the cable car up to the top of the Great Wall, and then you can slowly walk down to the street level, which is a very good arrangement. There are many slopes and stairs, so it's recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes; avoid sandals or flip-flops. Everyone really must walk the Great Wall at least once in their lifetime 👍

The lady tour guide tried to help us even though her English was almost non-existent. We didn't expect her to speak English from the beginning, as we knew we had booked a Chinese tour guide, but her willingness to help showed great hospitality and service from the heart. The bus was old and made us a bit dizzy and gave us a headache. However, we enjoyed ourselves during the walking distance of the Great Wall.

I strongly advise everyone to take a night tour in summer; it's cooler in the evening.
