This tour is highly recommended! Especially in autumn 🍂, the trees along the banks gradually turn red, and there are groups of cute ducklings and Canadian geese. The boatman provides commentary on the history and attractions along the way, which is very informative! It's an activity suitable for the whole family.

The whale watching activity was canceled due to bad weather, but the tour guide seemed inexperienced and unable to arrange and execute a backup plan in a timely manner. When we stopped along the way, they also didn't announce the meeting time. Luckily, the group members were quite good and didn't cause any delays. The guide did provide some brief commentary along the way, and there was someone in our group who didn't understand Chinese, but the guide hardly used English to accommodate them.

We had a wonderful private tour to Akaroa and the alpaca farm from Christchurch. Although it was more pricey, the private tour was absolutely worth it. The highlight of the trip was definitely the alpaca farm. We had plenty of time to feed, pat, and take photos with the alpacas, and we also learned a lot about these gentle animals from the informative session. Our driver & guide Zhen was friendly, helpful, and incredibly patient throughout the day. We especially appreciated how safely and smoothly he navigated the winding hill roads to the alpaca farm, which made the journey comfortable and enjoyable. The tour was well organised and relaxed, giving us enough time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Christchurch and looking for a memorable day out.

From the moment, I was picked up at my hotel accommodation to the trip it was nothing but amazing. The tour driver was very knowledgeable and very ethusiastic during the trip. All of our itinerary and tourist spots were ticked off. I highly recommend to do this Tranzalpine tour from Christchurch to Arthur's Pass. It was my first time in Christchurch and I fell in love with the place. Castle Hill, Otira Viaduct and Devil's Punchbowl Waterfall is a must see + we get to see a Kea bird. I would surely come back next time.

It was a last-minute tour booking, but it exceeded all my expectations! The guides were so kind and gave fantastic explanations. Even though my Korean honorifics are a bit rusty and I couldn't catch half of it, when I translated it using GPT, it turned out they were sharing fascinating geological and historical explanations. We made stops along the way to take pictures at great spots. The snacks and the lunch box were totally my style. It was a very satisfying tour. At the end, I wondered what was going on with the people taking the train, and it turned out to be a different package that required an extra fee. I was a bit curious about that too, but on the way back, I just slept soundly on the bus! Thank you.

Vi bestilte en transfertur fra Queenstown til Christchurch den 26. juni. Fra starten var kommunikasjonen sømløs; resepsjonsteamet svarte raskt på alle spørsmål før turen og sendte nyttige sikkerhetspåminnelser. Alt var perfekt forberedt. Kjøringen var eksepsjonelt trygg. Vår morgenguide var energisk og delte flotte lokale historier. Guidene elsker tydeligvis jobbene sine og det newzealandske landskapet, og tok oss med til hemmelige utsiktspunkter med god tid til å ta bilder. Sjefen deres ringte til og med underveis for å sjekke veiforholdene etter nylig snøfall – en omtenksom gest. De reddet også dagen vår ved Mount Cook ved å tilby isbrodder da vi innså at joggeskoene våre ikke var nok, i tillegg til vann og snacks. Overgangen til neste etappe var sømløs. Damen som tok over var svært ansvarlig, sørget for at vi ikke glemte noe og ventet sammen med oss. Til slutt slapp vår sjåfør i Christchurch alle trygt av rett ved deres respektive hoteller i tide. Flott kajakktur! Guiden vår, Kevin, var fantastisk – virkelig lidenskapelig opptatt av å dele historien om Akaroa og reservatet. Turen var godt arrangert, og vi var heldige som fikk se både seler og pingviner underveis.
