After hours spent in the sky, it was wonderful to settle into a spacious, comfortable room that felt instantly relaxing. The complimentary shuttle from the airport—arranged with just a quick phone call—made arriving stress-free and easy.
The hotel has a cozy atmosphere with modern touches, and its location near Spitfire Square adds to the charm. I especially appreciated the considerate checkout time at 11 a.m., which gave me a gentle, unhurried start to the day.

Drifter is located near the Metro Bus interchange (1 minute walking distance). Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was stylish and well maintained. All in all, it was a great accomodation.

Tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa en este tour de alpacas en Nueva Zelanda. La granja era hermosa y tranquila, y las alpacas eran increíblemente dóciles y estaban bien cuidadas. Uno de los mejores momentos fue poder alimentar a las alpacas de cerca: ¡eran amigables, curiosas y absolutamente adorables!

¡Este es un recorrido muy recomendable! Especialmente en otoño 🍂, los árboles a lo largo de la orilla se tiñen de rojo gradualmente, y los patitos y los gansos canadienses se agrupan, ¡son muy adorables! El barquero irá presentando la historia y los puntos de interés a lo largo de la orilla, ¡se aprende mucho! ¡Es una actividad adecuada para toda la familia!

From the moment, I was picked up at my hotel accommodation to the trip it was nothing but amazing.
The tour driver was very knowledgeable and very ethusiastic during the trip.
All of our itinerary and tourist spots were ticked off.
I highly recommend to do this Tranzalpine tour from Christchurch to Arthur's Pass. It was my first time in Christchurch and I fell in love with the place.
Castle Hill, Otira Viaduct and Devil's Punchbowl Waterfall is a must see + we get to see a Kea bird.
I would surely come back next time.

My family and I had a wonderful time throughout the 13 hour van ride from Christchurch to Queenstown. The cost of the tour is well worth it, since we were able to enjoy all the sights and stops we made. The snacks and lunch were also delicious and filling. Rosie picked us up from our hotel and took us to Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook, while Abbie drove us from Mt Cook to High Country Salmon Farm and then to our Queenstown accommodation. The ride itself felt comfortable and safe. There were 3 vacant seats in Rosie's van, while Abbie's was full with 16 people inside. This was a really fun way to get around. Will definitely recommend Cheeky Kiwi to friends and family!
