Very convenient location. The hotel was easy to find. Located near and walking distance to the MRT Orange Line, Liuhe Night Market. There ATMs and convenience store nearby. Has access to Laundry room. Although the facilities are old, my stay war overall good.

While the afternoon tea and late-night snacks weren't as good as the online reviews suggested, offering only simple cookies, sandwiches, and tea eggs instead of the pork buns and braised pork rice mentioned online, the airport shuttle service is a definite plus!

This is an excellent hotel. On a hot summer day, as soon as you step into the lobby, you feel a refreshing coolness. The adjacent restaurant offers guests tea, coffee, ice cream, and nostalgic old-fashioned cookies, which is a very thoughtful touch. The quad room we stayed in was also very spacious, and the soundproofing was good. The room was clean.

The E-DA Royal Hotel boasts an impressive array of facilities, making for a delightful stay. The hotel features a water park with slides, ensuring fun for both adults and children. The well-equipped sauna facilities offer a perfect way to relax and alleviate travel fatigue. The SW and PS5 game rooms are a major highlight, providing diverse entertainment options that transform a simple stay into a true vacation experience. Easy access to airport red line. The room was clean. The staff can speak basic english which is a plus as I do not speak mandarin. They also upgraded our room probably because I was staying during my birthday week. Buffet breakfast was good. They also offer free snacks (ice cream, cookies, jelly). They have buffet night snacks which could serve as your dinner though the course is almost the same daily. It was also nice that you can use the washing machine and dryer for free.

There's also a self-service laundry and a water dispenser. Although the room is small, it's well-equipped, and a back door was added to reduce noise. Breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety. Historical Charm Meets Industrial Aesthetics: Transformed from the old Kaohsiung Port Bureau waiting room, the building retains its high-ceilinged red brick walls, terrazzo floors, and large arched windows, creating a distinctive and high-quality retro-industrial design. The public spaces and corridors are perfect for photos.
Guest Room Comfort and Details: The rooms are spacious with a smooth flow, and the high ceilings provide an open, airy feel. The mattress offers excellent support, and the down bedding is skin-friendly for a good night's sleep. The bathroom features a separate wet and dry area with ample water pressure, and the amenities and details are all above standard.
Prime Location: Situated right next to Pier-2 Art Center and the Kaohsiung Port Light Rail Station (near Dayi Warehouse), you can easily walk to explore Pier-2, Great Harbor Bridge, and the harbor-side markets. The area is also filled with creative cultural shops and unique restaurants.
Note: Soundproofing is a minor drawback. If this is a significant concern, we recommend staying on the 3rd floor.
