Value for money with a fantastic location!
Just to manage expectations: my 5-star rating is for the overall experience and value, not because this is a luxury 5-star property.
I stayed for two nights and had zero issues. The rooms looks like the hotel website, incredibly spacious, clean, and tidy, just don't expect much of a view. What really stood out was the service; the staff are polite and highly proactive, checking in on even the small details to make sure I was comfortable.
Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient. It’s right near the train station, a Watsons, and plenty of local eateries. There is also a restaurant at the top of the hotel. Plus, it’s an easy walk to one of Kaohsiung's popular night markets.
Highly recommended for the price and convenience. I will definitely be trying out their Kenting property next time!

Hello, I truly appreciate the assistance from the staff on duty that day; I immediately received the best possible solution. However, regarding the small issue of whether an upgrade is possible, customers wouldn't actually know. I'm wondering if adding this note might cause misunderstanding for customers, creating a situation where they see it but can't have it? Furthermore, consumers wouldn't know at the time of booking whether an upgraded room type incurs additional charges, right? So, why is this note included then?

location is very near to everything. if you are too book this hotel align at Ciajin station take exit 4. turn Left after going out from the exit. walk few blocks and you will see the hotel. - there is also a good breakfast nook. along the street

We stayed in a tatami room, which was simple and clean, just like the photos on the website. It was interesting that when we opened the window, it still faced an indoor area. To reach the guest room area, you first take one elevator past the front desk, then another internal elevator, making it quite secluded. The hotel's overall decor is stylish, and the small rooftop pool is beautifully arranged.

Very good location just next to Kaohsiung station. self service check in and check out, with staff available at one call. Room is renovated from old house so there are some weird arrangements, such as very low shower head. Water dispenser available, while washing machh machine is always occupied. Budget friendly

Hotel Location: Near Kaohsiung Main Station! Transportation Convenience: Easily accessible! Service: The tables in the lobby lounge area have several outlets, which is thoughtful for guests to charge their phones! Breakfast: I heard it was good, but we woke up too late and missed it! Cleanliness: Good! However, the hallway had a damp, musty smell! The room was a bit small, and the air conditioning was extremely cold! When using the bathroom sink, the drain made a rather loud noise!

The location is excellent, very close to Pier-2 Art Center, and there are GoShare scooters available for rent nearby, making transportation quite convenient. The room size is a bit like those in Japan, with minimal amenities. The hot water is very hot and the water pressure is sufficient. The only downside is that there are too few light sources in the room; it's a bit dim during the day and feels very dark at night, almost as if it could strain your eyes.

The Hotel JAL City Kaohsiung is refined and elegant. Its guest rooms are simple, bright, and well soundproofed. Located in the Asia New Bay Area, it's extremely convenient to get around, being close to the Sanduo Shopping District MRT Station. The Japanese-style sauna is clean and comfortable, making it an excellent choice for relaxation.
