After getting off at Jungang Park Station and exiting through Gate 3, it's just a few minutes' walk away. I believe this is an excellent hotel in terms of both location and service. The breakfast, snacks, and even late-night meals were all prepared with great care. Aside from a few dishes with unique spices, everything was wonderful. The room was comfortable, and although it had a city view, it was pleasant to enjoy coffee there. I would love to stay at this hotel again if I have the opportunity.

Kindness Hotel, located near Kaohsiung Main Station, is the best hotel you could ever stay in in Kaohsiung. Upon arrival at the Kaohsiung Main Station, you just need to cross the street. You will be welcomed with very nice staff and unlimited tea, coffee, snacks, and ice cream, and free use of the laundry area. It truly deserves not just five stars, but ten stars. Kudos to them!

location is very near to everything. if you are too book this hotel align at Ciajin station take exit 4. turn Left after going out from the exit. walk few blocks and you will see the hotel. - there is also a good breakfast nook. along the street

The hotel is located between Kaohsiung Main Station and Formosa Boulevard MRT Station, closer to Formosa Boulevard Station. From the exit, walk straight along Zhongshan 1st Road towards the wedding dress district. After about 5 minutes, at the intersection, turn left onto Qixian 1st Road when you see the 'Jenlinso' wedding dress shop. Kaohsiung H.O.M.E. is just a short walk away. The front desk staff are friendly, and there's a PX Mart supermarket and the bustling Liuhe Tourist Night Market nearby, making it incredibly convenient. This stay, I was in a spacious, castle-themed room with playful stickers. It had a window with a street view and sunrise views, and a bathtub with strong water pressure to wash away fatigue. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The Hotel JAL City Kaohsiung is refined and elegant. Its guest rooms are simple, bright, and well soundproofed. Located in the Asia New Bay Area, it's extremely convenient to get around, being close to the Sanduo Shopping District MRT Station. The Japanese-style sauna is clean and comfortable, making it an excellent choice for relaxation.

Cleanliness: Clean and comfortable.
Breakfast: Although the breakfast food selection isn't extensive, the quality is quite good. They offer Taiwanese congee with various toppings, stir-fried Hsinchu rice noodles, minced pork rice, salad, and fruit, which generally met my needs.
Hotel Location: It's close to the Love River, making it very convenient if you're visiting the Yancheng District. It's only about a 7-minute walk to the light rail station, and then just one stop to get to Pier-2 Art Center. There's a large 7-Eleven right downstairs, which is super convenient for buying daily necessities and food.
Overall, I was mostly satisfied. The only thing is the lighting in the room; it would be better if it could be adjusted to be brighter, as it was generally dim. Even with all the lights on, it wasn't bright enough, and we had to rely on sunlight from the window. Another area that needs improvement is the bathroom. Even when the glass door for the shower was closed, a small amount of water would still leak out onto the floor. This was the only aspect I found less than ideal.

While the afternoon tea and late-night snacks weren't as good as the online reviews suggested, offering only simple cookies, sandwiches, and tea eggs instead of the pork buns and braised pork rice mentioned online, the airport shuttle service is a definite plus!

Historical Charm Meets Industrial Aesthetics: Transformed from the old Kaohsiung Port Bureau waiting room, the building retains its high-ceilinged red brick walls, terrazzo floors, and large arched windows, creating a distinctive and high-quality retro-industrial design. The public spaces and corridors are perfect for photos.
Guest Room Comfort and Details: The rooms are spacious with a smooth flow, and the high ceilings provide an open, airy feel. The mattress offers excellent support, and the down bedding is skin-friendly for a good night's sleep. The bathroom features a separate wet and dry area with ample water pressure, and the amenities and details are all above standard.
Prime Location: Situated right next to Pier-2 Art Center and the Kaohsiung Port Light Rail Station (near Dayi Warehouse), you can easily walk to explore Pier-2, Great Harbor Bridge, and the harbor-side markets. The area is also filled with creative cultural shops and unique restaurants.
Note: Soundproofing is a minor drawback. If this is a significant concern, we recommend staying on the 3rd floor.

The prices are great, and they offer welcome snacks like nachos and ice cream. Afternoon tea includes cookies, which is very convenient for families with children. There's also a self-service laundry and a water dispenser. Although the room is small, it's well-equipped, and a back door was added to reduce noise. Breakfast is delicious and offers a wide variety. It's a great value for the price!
