Things to do in Cijin

I'd like to clarify the schedule for other travelers, as the official website and brochure aren't very detailed. The 10:40 AM departure arrives at Hongmaogang at 11:20 AM. If you plan to have lunch at the revolving restaurant, you'll need to call ahead for a reservation. You can book for 11:30 AM, which also helps you avoid the hot sun. For the return trip, you need to gather at the Hongmaogang waiting room by 1:40 PM, and the return departure time is 1:50 PM. Most importantly, you will arrive back at the original departure point at 2:30 PM after a 40-minute boat ride (not 1:50 PM).

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Stella! She was very friendly, kind, and accommodating throughout the whole tour. She explained everything clearly and shared interesting information about the places we visited. Stella was also very patient and helpful, especially when we needed assistance or wanted to take photos. Her warm personality made the tour more enjoyable and comfortable. The female instructor was incredibly attentive! I've taken surfing lessons in different places before, but the instructor here was truly able to provide specific, helpful suggestions for improving my technique. She also offered constant encouragement throughout the process, which boosted my confidence. The photographer took very natural and beautiful pictures too! This time, it was right before a typhoon, so the waves were excellent and perfect for practice. The instructor also mentioned that surfing here is ideal from May to December. The overall experience was fantastic, and I'm already looking forward to planning my next visit. I highly recommend it!

This was the highlight of our trip to Taiwan. Our tour guide Charlie reached out via WhatsApp two days before to confirm our trip. He arrived early the day of our trip. Charlie started our trip with local fruit He got for us before he arrived. Then took us for a local boba. Charlie went above and beyond and made the tour that much more special. He is very knowledgeable and proudly tells you about every place on the itinerary. He speaks English and Chinese very well. I plan on recommending Charlie to everyone I know taking a trip to Southern Taiwan. Overall it was a great and memorable experience. Thank you Charlie for everything!

I have to give it 5-stars based on value for your money. Seniors (65+) and primary school kids are free, and adults are less than $2! I paid extra for the little zoo tram as it was crazy hot, hundreds of school kids, and the monkeys are no joke! stole a water bottle right out of a boy’s hand in a big school group (ran off with it)! The best part was the water area, like a splash pad. Although older and rundown, it did the job of cooling us off. There’s 3 areas, with rain water coming from above, and two shallow areas maybe 1-4 inches of water. Animals weren’t too active due to heat/sun. Don’t recommend eating here as not many options, nor good quality.

The tour is nice and the guide was giving a lot of information. However, this one should be highlighted that it is in Chinese ONLY. I can understand some part of the introduction but the experience would have been nicer if I know that this is in Chinese only, no English. I would remember to check all the earlier review before booking a tour now.

The tour was great and it had let us visit the top Kaohsiung City attractions. It’s just that the very warm weather is the challengegoing from one place to another. It was very humid in the city which made the tour kinda’ difficult for us tourists because it somehow spolied our excitement. Everyone is complaining on the hot weather but at the same time, we enjoyed taking pictires despite the hot weather. The warm weather was extreme especially during noontime till 4-5pm in the afternoon. There’s not much to see in the Arts Museum. The one that delighted us is the nearby train station. The pier has a lot of people too despite the extreme hot weather, which was our last stop of the day. The Tiger Dragon pagoda was one of the best, same with the Moon Landscape Park and the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum too! This tour is highly recommended especially for those who are first-time visitors in Kaohsiung.

entrance ticket is about the same price as buying on-site. quick and easy redemption. its a very beautiful place and its recommended to come. you may walk to the ferry pier nearby and take a boat trip to visit Cijin Island together.

I was worried the amusement park would be closed due to the approaching typhoon, but when we came to Suzuka Circuit Park yesterday, the weather was great and there weren't many people, probably because it was a Thursday. Our whole family bought one-day passes, and we got to ride every attraction many times without long waits. It was truly worth the price! I ordered a 1+1 ticket package online through Klook for 980 NTD, and the second set was even more discounted, costing only 900 NTD after an 80 NTD reduction. That saved us a lot compared to buying tickets at the gate!
