Things to do in Xizi Bay Scenic Area

It's really worth the while to join this tour as we covered all the important locations in Kaohsiung. Our guide, Woody, was kind enough to take our photos and let us discover each place at our own pace with ample time to cover all areas in the itinerary. The ride was also comfortable. Definitely enjoyable but not in a hurried manner.

Mr. Wu arrived and waited for us before our scheduled reservation time. He was very kind and provided detailed explanations, guiding us through the tour with an optimized itinerary. As a native of Kaohsiung, he showed us hidden charms in every corner and even introduced us to unexpected, hidden gems, making the experience even more memorable. We hadn't even mentioned a lunch spot, but he took us to a beef noodle restaurant we really wanted to try, which was incredibly thoughtful. The weather was also very clear and sunny, making it pleasant to get around. He dropped us off at locations we requested on short notice both during and at the end of the tour, allowing us to conclude our itinerary richly. I feel like I made an excellent decision booking this tour, as I got to know Kaohsiung thoroughly.

This was the highlight of our trip to Taiwan. Our tour guide Charlie reached out via WhatsApp two days before to confirm our trip. He arrived early the day of our trip. Charlie started our trip with local fruit He got for us before he arrived. Then took us for a local boba. Charlie went above and beyond and made the tour that much more special. He is very knowledgeable and proudly tells you about every place on the itinerary. He speaks English and Chinese very well. I plan on recommending Charlie to everyone I know taking a trip to Southern Taiwan. Overall it was a great and memorable experience. Thank you Charlie for everything!

If you have the money, I highly recommend this experience. If you have two people, it’s much cheaper as well (it was just me though). I’ve done this in Taipei and at EuropaPark theme park in Germany so it was cool to see the history of this this experience originated. Staff are friendly and speak English. Recommend using Klook and must book at least one day in advance (earlier spots are less busy). It’s a little out there location wise but I eventually found it.

This was the best massage I've ever had! The 70-minute program offered by Klook was excellent value for money. The person who took care of me, a female team leader perhaps, accurately identified and repeatedly massaged the areas where I was experiencing pain (knots). It was so good that I want to go again soon.

We booked this 1-day Kaohsiung Fun Pass for a last-minute, spontaneous day trip. We didn’t have time to reserve any day tours or private drivers, so this pass ended up being incredibly handy! It is completely digital and activated through the Taiwan Fun Pass app. It is super convenient because you just use the app's QR code to hop on buses and trains, and to get easy access into the tourist spots. The app is also really helpful because it gives you a full list of the available attractions so you know exactly what your options are for the day. To be completely honest, if you aren't planning to pack your schedule and use the pass to its fullest, it might be just as cost-effective to DIY and pay at the counter. But if you value convenience and want to avoid the hassle of buying individual tickets or fumbling for commute fares, this is definitely worth it. It’s so nice to just pull up the QR code and go!

It's very cool and fun, and the experience is quite thrilling, giving you an immersive feeling. The only downside is that since it's a flight experience, there's constant wind. If you go in when it's raining, you might get a headache from the wind, and the video is a bit short. Experience:

The tour was great and it had let us visit the top Kaohsiung City attractions. It’s just that the very warm weather is the challengegoing from one place to another. It was very humid in the city which made the tour kinda’ difficult for us tourists because it somehow spolied our excitement. Everyone is complaining on the hot weather but at the same time, we enjoyed taking pictires despite the hot weather. The warm weather was extreme especially during noontime till 4-5pm in the afternoon. There’s not much to see in the Arts Museum. The one that delighted us is the nearby train station. The pier has a lot of people too despite the extreme hot weather, which was our last stop of the day. The Tiger Dragon pagoda was one of the best, same with the Moon Landscape Park and the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum too! This tour is highly recommended especially for those who are first-time visitors in Kaohsiung.
