Things to do in Dakeng Scenic Area

Cipher Wang was an outstanding tour guide during our trip to Taiwan! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and truly passionate about sharing the culture and history of each place we visited. Her organization, clear communication, and great sense of humor made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Cipher went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable and engaged throughout the tour. Thanks to her, we learned a lot and had so much fun along the way. Our tour to Zhongshe Flower Market was absolutely magical—the colors, blooms, & the photo spots were straight out of a dream! We also had a delicious lunch.The stunning Theatre in Taichung is such an architectural gem! After that, we enjoyed a true local treat at Chun Shui Tang, the birthplace of bubble milk tea.Then came Miyahara, the old bank turned into an elegant dessert shop. The ice cream was divine, & the atmosphere made it feel like stepping back in time. We ended our day at Gaomei Wetlands, where we watched a breathtaking sunset-the sky painted in golden hues, such a perfect ending to a beautiful day.A huge shoutout to our amazing tour guide —CIPHER-she truly made the trip unforgettable!Her sense of humor had everyone laughing and she kept the energy fun and lively.It was so thoughtful of her to even wash our ID straps—such a gesture that showed her care and attention to detail.We appreciate her so much for making our tour not only smooth but also full of joy and laughter!

Masseuse: Arranged a female masseuse with just the right amount of pressure, and the masseuse didn't smoke and had no cigarette smell on her, very excellent. It felt very comfortable. I'll go again next time if I have the chance. The location is quite close to the Siwei Elementary School MRT station, and there is also a UBike station nearby, so transportation is very convenient. The massage environment is very comfortable and there are also very cute cats 🐱

We attended the Five Senses Tea Tasting Experience from Klook. It was an excellent experience. The host spoke English very clearly and we got to learn so much about tea. The tea that we tried was delicious. This is a must do for anyone visiting Taichung :)

The fourth-floor semiconductor exhibit at the science center is worth seeing, the rest feels quite dated🤣. The staff are all very enthusiastic and friendly👍.

Our tour guide Jeannie was nice and accommodating. She made sure that we are on time and we follow the itinerary for a smooth flow of the tour. We loved that she always made sure that we are comfortable and happy during the trip. Overall, it was a really nice experience.

101% enjoyed the trip as our guide, Vincent, was so reliable and shared si many infos not just about Taichung but Taiwan in general. Will I come back, 101% yes!
