Mr. Caleb was our tourguide/driver for the day. Got to ride a Toyota Granvia with Captain’s chair! Very comfy and best for post-tour naps. Since this is a private tour, we can pick with destination to go to/ skip. Shifen Old Street - Sky Lantern and souvenir buying (2 pcs of lantern were included in this tour); Lucky that we reach this area early= not crowded yet. Love the embroidered cat key chains! Jiufen old Street - Lunch break and souvenir shopping Mr. Caleb also directed us to the less travelled pathways and ordered for our lunch (braised pork) Also, bought pineapple cakes, mango jellies and nougat! Mr. Caleb was kind enough to pick then up and put them in the van so we wont have to carry it with us. Also suggested the photo stops and took the photos while giving a brief history of the place. Esp the secret spot on Jiufen area. At the end of the day, he dropped us at our pickup point, fresh from our nap inside our comfy van. l

This was a great tour. Jimmy, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of historical information. He was very punctual and professional. Overall, the trip was a great experience for the whole family! Good value for the money!

Our guide May Ei was fantastic. She made us feel relaxed and comfortable despite visiting the market on a very busy weekend. she was knowledgeable, passionate and caring. we tried so many delicious dishes and May Ei helped us find things we would not have know to try. she also showed us around the temple which was a truly fascinating experience- she was so knowledgeable and passionate about sharing her culture and history. we would recommend her tour to anyone. thank you May Ei.

It feels like a luxury to have a private tour of the night market and city! We only had a limited time in Taipei, so getting to spend time where we wanted to go was important to us. Super fun half-day tour! We started early and avoided the crowds — perfect! First stop was Shifen Waterfall — peaceful, scenic, and a great way to start the day. Then we headed to Pingxi to release sky lanterns. Such a meaningful and fun experience! Got great photos too thanks to our awesome guide Mr. Steven Huang 🙌 Last stop was Jiufen, a charming old town with amazing street food (highly recommend the taro balls and fishballs!). The views were stunning and the vibe felt like a real-life Spirited Away. Huge thanks to Mr. Steven — super friendly, informative, and made everything smooth and fun. If you’re thinking about booking this, do it! And ask for Steven if you can — 10/10 experience 💯

Excellent value! This is a fantastic tour option in Taipei. The driver and guide provided exceptional care and were very knowledgeable about the attractions. They even went the extra mile by asking about our food preferences and making restaurant reservations for us. If you're visiting Taiwan, booking this tour is highly recommended as one of the best. Our tour guide was very friendly and took the time to answer our questions. Given the busy nature of the market and bringing through a small group, it’s impossible for a guide to stop with everyone to make purchases. I did appreciate explanations of certain foods and the history of the market. However, with most vendors having English menus or really good signage, you can certainly do this market on your own. Maybe watch a couple of YouTube videos in advance to get yourself familiarized with the market.

I had a great time on this tour. David, the tour guide was friendly and made everyone comfortable. We had a small delay in Taipei 101 Observatory and David obliged to compensate the time and we spent a longer period in Raohe night market. A definite 10/10
