Fantastic 5.0
Our family of five went to this store in the morning to rent kimonos, and the ladies added Japanese makeup services. We booked online in advance and also used the photography service. The staff also knew how to speak Chinese! The staff were very kind and friendly, and they also gave us suggestions on how to match the whole kimono. Lace kimonos are their creation, and the styles are very special. My mother and I chose new styles. Wearing pink made us look very youthful. The black one showed the red fabric underneath in the sunlight, which was very elegant and beautiful! The weather was cold that day, and the staff lent us different styles of shawls, which was very thoughtful. The photographer also spoke Chinese. He met us at the store that day and took us to Senso-ji Temple to take pictures. He carefully taught us how to pose and took beautiful pictures! In just one hour, we took family photos, couple photos, and individual photos. It was a very pleasant morning. Highly recommended, a very good experience activity!

For a girls' trip, trying on a kimono is a must-do in Japan! After comparing several options, we chose this kimono rental shop and had a great experience. They have many branches, which is very convenient. The receptionist speaks Chinese and is very nice. She patiently helped us choose our outfits. We upgraded to the wide obi (belt) in the shop, and it was definitely worth it! A Japanese lady helped us dress, and she was very professional. A Japanese girl styled my hair so carefully and beautifully. Even with my short hair, she made it look amazing. I'm truly satisfied! My hair stayed perfect all day long, which is really great.

We had a wonderful experience with Wasou Komanchi Kanon during our kimono rental. The staff were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive from the moment we arrived. They helped me choose the perfect hairstyle and kimono, and made sure everything fit beautifully and comfortably. I never realized how much effort goes into the dressing process, but they made it smooth and efficient. We also booked a 30mins photography session with them, and the photographer — Yuki was amazing, she guiding us through beautiful spots around Asakusa and helping us capture stunning photos that made the experience even more special.

Fantastic 5.0
Our package has a choice between two types of wood only, and all the other wood types require additional costs (from 2k-10k ¥) and were said to pose more difficulty in creating the chopsticks due to wood hardness. Place has a pin on Google maps and is walkable from Shinjuku station, and the class isn't exactly one-on-one. Most instructors were European so there's not much of a language barrier. They're all approachable for any questions or assistance in case there's something wrong with the blade or you're having difficulty with your wood type (or maybe you're unknowingly going against the grain). Making the chopsticks takes effort and care, but even children can make it with you because of the wood docks/mold you can mount the chopstick into while shaving/carving it. Such a unique experience and definitely worth the price!

I had such a lovely time doing the kimono experience with my daughter. When we arrived, we found even prettier kimono options, so we decided to pay a little extra to upgrade — and it was absolutely worth it. This Japan trip has been incredibly fun and memorable, and the staff here were genuinely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Fantastic 5.0
A really enjoyable and hands-on experience. The chopsticks making class was well organised, relaxed, and easy to follow, even if you don’t have any prior experience. It was great to make something yourself rather than just buying a souvenir, and the process was surprisingly satisfying. The instructors were patient and welcoming, explaining each step clearly and making the experience feel personal rather than rushed. You walk away with a useful, meaningful keepsake that actually reminds you of your time in Japan. A nice change of pace from sightseeing and a great cultural activity to break up the trip. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something interactive and memorable.
