Super convenient! The eSIM was easy to install and activated right away after scanning the QR code. The internet speed was fast and reliable throughout my trip, which made it easy to navigate, book rides, and stay connected. The instructions were clear, and I didn’t have to worry about finding a local SIM card upon arrival. Definitely recommend this for anyone traveling — hassle-free and worth it!

Overall, I was quite satisfied. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the MRT station, but since the MRT is the most convenient mode of transportation in Kaohsiung, it required a 20-minute round trip each day. Besides the MRT, taking the bus is also very convenient. Since single-use toiletries are no longer provided, and I forgot to bring my own, the staff quickly helped me find a department store nearby that was still open (it was past 10 PM) and solved my problem. I really appreciate their help!

The hotel's shuttle service is excellent. The staff is very enthusiastic and patient, providing helpful information about transportation and dining options. They recommended a Northern-style noodle restaurant that's a short walk behind the hotel. The scallion pancakes there were delicious and crispy. The taxi service and arrangements were seamless, and the staff was very thoughtful in giving me a hotel business card with a taxi number already written on the back. I really appreciate the warmth and hospitality of Kaohsiung. The breakfast selection was decent with quite a few options, and you can even have beef soup. There's also a large screen showing introductions to Kaohsiung, which you can watch while dining. It's great and provides excellent travel information.

If you’re a traveller who wants to stay in an affordable hotel but still want to experience the luxury of staying in a hotel, I highly recommend Kindness Hotel. Aside from convenience since they are just near Kaohsiung Main Station, I also love that they are very generous with their free snacks and breakfast buffet, plus staff are so kind that they even let us stay there a little more after our check out to repack our luggages. Kindness Hotel will now be my go-to hotel everytime I travel to Taiwan.

Hotel Location: Located at MRT Formosa Boulevard Station, near Liuhe Night Market, great! Transportation Convenience: About a 10-15 minute walk from the MRT station. Exit 10 has a long staircase; Exit 8, around a corner, has an escalator; the elevators are at Exit 3/1. Service: A welcome drink was provided on the day of check-in, a large platter filled with desserts, snacks, and drinks. A pleasant surprise!! Cleanliness: The guest room is very spacious, with enough room to move around even after opening 3 large suitcases; the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet, great! Overall, it's clean and tidy, giving a good feeling. Breakfast: Buffet style, with a good selection and delicious taste. Hot dishes include lion's head meatballs, fried eggs, fried rice noodles, and seasonal vegetables, as well as oden and braised pork rice; fried items include hash browns, shrimp cakes, and breakfast sausages, plus steamed buns and dim sum; finally, there are desserts, salads, and fruits, as well as fruit juice, soy milk, and a self-service coffee machine.

Great hotel. Just across the Kaohsiung Main Station. Very nice room and with free ice cream and snacks in the cafe. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

This was my first time staying at the Joy Inn, and the environment was very comfortable. My family really liked the accommodation. The Joy Inn on the second floor offers snacks, cookies, coffee, and drinks for guests to enjoy. The Joy Inn has a good location, within walking distance to Liuhe Night Market and Central Park, and the transportation is also very convenient. The breakfast selection is very rich, with many options, which is great!

Even when busy, they maintain basic politeness 👍 I booked several hotels for my dad's follow-up eye surgery check-up in Kaohsiung within a short two-month period. The staff and management team at the Juemin Branch are truly excellent 👍 * The cleanliness is exceptional. Both the double and quadruple rooms we stayed in were very clean, with hardly any dust. The hairdryer and slippers are in the closet, and the hairdryer has strong airflow. The wooden-style refrigerator is also a great touch. The facilities are comprehensive, making you want to stay again. * You hardly need to worry about breakfast, lunch, or dinner as they are very abundant. The team is thoughtful in bringing local delicacies like Danzai noodles and tofu pudding into the hotel. I can only say that the team is truly outstanding! You can eat well even when staying at the hotel. The price for the stay is really great value for the money. Here's a small suggestion: you could put a small sign on the bathroom mirror that says, "Guests, please help the cleaning staff maintain a clean environment." I noticed that women tend to shed hair, especially after washing their hair. I always picked up the hair myself before leaving, as it's very tiring for the cleaning staff to have to bend over and clean it up. This is a very reasonable suggestion.

If I travel again in Kaohsiung I stay here again. Good location near on MRT. Many foods shop nearby. Highly recommend ☺️
