Things to do in Hualien

Tour guide Tony did a great job in driving and introducing Hualien places and it's histories. Tony drop every group individually even the though it was late on his schedule. Appreciate Tony being the tour guide!

Fantastic experience. The weather was great and I had a great time seeing the dolphins twice. The guide is in the local language, but foreigners can go and see it without any problems. I definitely recommend visiting when you visit Hualien~

Go out to sea by boat, enjoy the sea breeze and enjoy the rare leisure time. The undulating mountains in the distance contrast with the blue sea and blue sky. Whales and dolphins jump out of the sea, showing their vitality and elegance. The splashing water seems to be the joyful song of the sea. Observe these charming creatures and feel the mystery and magic of nature. This journey is full of surprises and leaves beautiful memories. I look forward to experiencing this touching experience again next time.

We went river tracing at Sapadang River during our trip to Hualien. The stream water was clear and cool. Led by the coach, we moved along the stream valley, climbing rocks and diving. Every step was full of challenges and fun. The moment we jumped into the deep pool was the most unforgettable, both exciting and refreshing. The scenery along the way was beautiful, with mountains and streams interwoven, allowing people to relax completely. This trip not only brought us closer to nature but also enhanced the understanding between companions. It is really worth experiencing.

Take the train to Linrong New Guang Station, but be aware that train services are infrequent, so pay attention to the train schedule. The park is large, so it is recommended to rent a golf cart for $600/2 hours. It's a relaxing and pleasant way to explore the park.

The ATV ride was super fun and exciting! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire experience. We didn’t have to wait long, which was a big plus. After the ride, we were offered cold water and refreshing lemon juice — such a thoughtful touch! The shower facilities were also very clean and convenient. And let me tell you — the photography skills are incredible! Ohh, the pictures came out so beautiful! They really captured the adventure perfectly. I highly recommend trying the ATV if you're ever in Hualien — it’s an unforgettable experience!

The activity guide was very friendly. He first introduced the traditional culture of the Amis people, then made bamboo rice, and then helped us change into traditional costumes and gave us time to take photos. Later, we experienced archery, which was fun! Then he introduced the traps for capturing prey in the mountains, experienced fishing nets, gathered together to grill small pieces of meat, tried millet wine, and then ate the bamboo rice we made ourselves. It had a light bamboo flavor and was not bad. Because the activity was moved to a new venue, the facilities were not yet very complete, but it did not affect our experience. If there is a chance, I would like to go again😍
