Things to do in Chiang Mai Province

I really enjoyed this activity. The elephants look well taken care of. We got to chop up the food for the elephants and feed them. The caretakers would not force the elephants to do anything if they didn’t want to. For example, there was a light drizzle passing by and the elephants did not want to go bathing, and the caretaker said he will not force him into the water so we would skip this activity and continue feeding them. However we got very lucky because out of nowhere came another elephant that did want to bathe and we got to do the activity. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Mama Moi, a Northern Thai cooking class full of youthful energy. A young team leads travelers from all over the world on a three-hour journey to visit a local Chiang Mai market, learn about ingredients, step into the brand's farm, touch and smell the aroma of local spices, and through a simple but intuitive cooking experience, create their own Northern Thai dishes. Facilities: Clean, tidy, and systematically complete. As long as you follow the teacher's steps, it is absolutely impossible to make a mistake. Safety: Although it is a cooking class that requires the use of stoves and knives, the teacher gives instructions one at a time, progressing through the course in a calm and orderly manner, so there is no need to worry about being a cooking novice. Location: Although remote, it feels like a paradise. No matter which corner of Chiang Mai you live in, there is a private car for round-trip transportation, providing extremely considerate service.

We had a great time learning about Northern Thai cuisine, our instructor Patty had a great sense of humour, she’s very friendly and and informative. On the day of the lesson we were surprised to find out that we were the only two students attending this amazing class (As others chose the basic Thai cuisine course). We learned a lot from our instructor and had a wonderful time, would definitely recommend it to everyone especially if you’re interested in Thai cuisine.

Participated in the event on 1/26, and the staff leading us were Cityman and Wan, who were very professional and kind. They ensured safety before each departure, knew some Chinese, and were humorous, making it a great event experience. For lunch, we went to a beautiful restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal. The driver who picked us up for the return trip had excellent driving skills and carefully confirmed our drop-off location. The entire team was outstanding. The go-kart slopes during the itinerary were very steep, which was a bit scary. People without driving experience should be careful.

It was so much fun, lol strongly recommend! lol Touching a giraffe!! I never knew giraffe tongues were this long~ lol The herbivore tram is more fun than the carnivore tram lol But it's not good to go too late at night~ You can't see well! It's better to go early and see it while it's bright!!! (But if you don't have a hotel pick-up service, it's better to buy a product that includes transportation!! When returning to the accommodation late at night, Grab wasn't available, and there were no songthaews, so I raised the Grab fare to get one~)

I booked the 2-hour scrub & oil massage course this time. The salon was very oriental, and the tea during the consultation was delicious. The treatment was careful, gentle, and very satisfying. My skin became moist and smooth, and the extra swelling was removed, which was wonderful. The tea and sweets I received after the treatment were very tasty, and I bought some to take home. I think there are many salons in Chiang Mai, but I'm glad I chose this one.

Had a great evening at the Chiang Mai Boxing Stadium with the hubby and teenagers. Truly authentic Boxing stadium, not commercialized. We bought VIP seats in advance where you sat directly behind the fighters as they waited for their fight. Tickets came with free beer, water, soft drinks and snacks all evening. We also got to go on the stage and have a photo taken with the fighters which was an added bonus. It was a late night as it doesn't kick off until 9pm, but well worth the experience.
