Fah Lanna Spa Experience at the Old Town Branch in Chiang Mai

I booked the 2-hour scrub & oil massage course this time. The salon was very oriental, and the tea during the consultation was delicious. The treatment was careful, gentle, and very satisfying. My skin became moist and smooth, and the extra swelling was removed, which was wonderful. The tea and sweets I received after the treatment were very tasty, and I bought some to take home. I think there are many salons in Chiang Mai, but I'm glad I chose this one.

I booked the Siam Herbal Spa package through Klook and experienced the herbal compress massage for the first time. My husband and I still prefer Thai massage and aromatherapy massage. Our masseuses were both very good. My husband's masseur was male and very strong, which he thought was great. Our room had 3 beds, so even though our child didn't get a massage, he could still lie down and rest. The only downside was that the air conditioning in the room was too cold. When we were sitting for the massage, we felt very cold without a towel. The drinks and snacks provided by the spa were delicious. This massage parlor also has a cafe. If I have the chance to come again, I would like to relax and have afternoon tea after the massage.

Nice and clean environment. Price is highly than those along the streets but it was more luxurious and relaxing. Enjoy at least a session to pamper yourself.

I was told that this is one of the upper market range spas in town. It’s worth it though! Beautiful peaceful setting. Fah Lanna takes great care of you - I liked that the pre-session form included an illustration of the human body and we could mark out areas to avoid, areas to focus on, and areas to be careful with. Apple, my therapist, paid attention to this detail and did the massage accordingly. She was also observant - turning up the air con temperature when she felt my hands getting cold without me asking. The cold towels smell great too!

Fah Lanna is the perfect treat yo self thing to do, and my most recent visit didn’t disappoint. From the welcoming check in where I chose what services I wanted, to the delicious drink and treat before my 3 hour treatments began, to the zen ambiance throughout the spa that makes you forget you’re in the middle of a city, everything was perfect. Then the woman Pu who did my foot and Thai massage really was the best part of the experience. She was kind, listened to the desired intensity of the massage, and one of the best massages I have had in my life came from this lovely woman. I would go out of my way to request Pu on my next trip to Fah Lanna!

This massage parlor is flamboyant just from its appearance. The staff's service attitude is very good. The roselle tea and cold towel offered at the beginning are very relaxing. The fact that the rooms are for two people and have a private toilet is a big plus 👍. The massage technique is also good. The only thing is that after the massage, I was taken to a very Chinese-style product area to enjoy the final tea and snacks (I personally feel it's too commercialized and I don't really like it). Other than that, I think it was a great experience.

The service was excellent. They arranged a massage for me on my birthday 💆🏻‍♂️. To my surprise, after the massage and while enjoying tea, they suddenly brought out a cake with candles. I was shocked, it was so thoughtful 💙💙💙.
