Siam Garden Cooking School, Chiang Mai

I had such a great time at Siam Garden Cooking School! The whole experience was fun from start to finish. We made several delicious Thai dishes that were easy to follow and tasted amazing. It was a great way to learn about Thai cooking while creating wonderful memories. One of the best parts was meeting so many friendly people from different countries and enjoying the meal together after cooking. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient, making everyone feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. It’s definitely one of the highlights of my trip!

this is my very first cooking class and absolutely love it. The service were very good, all the staff guide you how to cook all the menu. If you are new in cooking or even wants to join the class with kids, you don’t have to worry because it’s beginner friendly. Will definitely recommend this to my friends.

The experience was excellent. The transfer vehicle was a dedicated school car, very clean, and Teacher Gift accompanied us throughout the entire process, including the market tour and explanation, cooking, and dining. The school has plenty of teachers, almost a two-to-one student-to-teacher ratio, and everyone is very friendly and teaches meticulously. There's also great emotional support, and most importantly, the process is very smooth and not tiring at all. If you know some English, definitely sign up here!!!

This cooking class was such a great experience. I went with my mom and sister and they really enjoyed themselves. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Pickup was on time, the van was comfortable and the drive was smooth. I loved the idea that they messaged on WhatsApp the day before to get our 6 choices from the menu so that everything would be prepared and ready for when we arrived. 10/10 recommend.

The market tour was both enjoyable and very informative — a great way to learn about local ingredients. The school’s location is fantastic: airy, serene, and the perfect setting for a relaxed cooking day. The lady owner, Vony (Miss Beautiful), is not only talented but also very funny, and the whole team — Gift, Pear, and the other lovely girls (sorry I didn’t catch all the names!) — made the experience warm and fun. We cooked 6 delicious dishes, and it was the perfect activity on a rainy day. A small tip: if you're taking a Grab car to the meeting point on a rainy day, allow extra time for car availability and traffic to make sure you arrive on time. Booking through Klook was fast and easy, and the operator responded promptly to all messages. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chiang Mai!

I really wanted to take a cooking class when I came to Chiang Mai, and it was a great experience! My mom also liked it and said she would have regretted not taking the cooking class. When you apply, they contact you via Line or What's App and ask for your hotel address, and it was convenient that they picked you up there. Also, you can apply for each person's desired menu in advance through a messenger app, but if you have someone to go with, it would be good to make different dishes and try various menus! It was fun to go to the local market and look at fruits, and they gave us about 10-15 minutes of free time there, so we bought a lot of fruits during that time. ㅎㅎ When we arrived, they explained the garden with various herbs and spices, which was interesting, and cooking was not too difficult because it was mostly just preparing the prepared ingredients and stir-frying or boiling them. If you're not good at pounding the curry paste, the staff helped you out~ We made the food in two parts and split it in the middle, and it was nice that we could eat it in an air-conditioned room!! My mom is sensitive to hot weather, so I was worried, but the air-conditioned room was the best! They also give you cold water and coffee! It seems like you can buy ingredients and goods later. They say you can see the recipes again on the website later, but since it is a recipe book that explains in detail other recipes, vegetables, fruits, spices, sauces, etc. in addition to the recipe I made today, I think it will be very helpful when I want to make it at home later! I couldn't take many pictures because I was cooking, but I'm glad they're posting them on Facebook and the website~! Thank you to the staff Cream and Gift who kindly explained things to me today~! I made good memories in Chiang Mai ㅎㅎ

Great small-group class. Hotel pickup was included and very easy to arrange via WhatsApp. I really enjoyed the brief local market visit, where we had time to shop (I picked up some fresh fruit), followed by a trip to the garden to learn about the herbs and vegetables used in Thai cuisine. The highlight was getting hands-on experience making curry paste and five different Thai dishes, which you gotten to choose from (the greater variety of dishes to cook was a big selling point for me and definitely delivered. You also receive an online cookbook with all the recipes, which is a nice bonus. Of course, you get to enjoy everything you cook for lunch, fresh and incredibly tasty. I would highly recommend this experience.

This was a great little experience that I had with my son. The transport came right on time and the school proactively reached out to cement details of pickup, booking, etc. The class is everything they promised - we are vegetarian and they gave us the possibility of making anything and everything vegetarian. We learn to make 6 dishes right from appetizers to desserts. The instructor gave helpful insights on ingredients, recipes & procedures. We also got to eat what we cooked in a nice little setting with the group. The support staff kept everything ready for quick and smooth transition between. viruses. Gift explained everything really well & we had a delightful time. Highly recommend.

Experience: A fantastic experience! Since there weren't many people, the instructors were very thorough, and we could choose 5 dishes! The experience was absolutely amazing! Instructors: The teachers were very responsible, and their English was excellent. Communication was seamless and they were very humorous. Location: Very good. Safety: Very safe, all the women were very friendly. Equipment: Great!

I'm a Korean who has used this service five times. It's fun to choose five dishes, including dessert, prepare the ingredients, cook, and then eat what you've made. Exploring the market and farm, then cooking and eating in a cool, pleasant spot is wonderful. Water and coffee are provided, and hotel pickup and drop-off services are included, which is very convenient. Cute dogs—a Labrador Retriever, French Bulldog, and Beagle—greet you warmly, and the farm has a charming, friendly atmosphere. Handwashing stations are well-equipped, and the guides speak excellent English, making everything easy to understand. Even though my English isn't great, they explain things in a way that's easy to follow, so those who don't speak English well have nothing to worry about. The female owner is kind, and I always leave feeling happy. The other staff members are also cheerful and friendly. I highly recommend it! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
