Sapporo Shakotan & Otaru Full-Day Tour with Scenic Views

Honestly the itinerary alone was worth the journey. The highlight for me was Cape Kamui - I didn't feel compelled to finish the route because I was a lazybum on holiday but even 3/4 of it was more than enough to enjoy the dramatic stunning landscape and blue waters. The itinerary also took us to other lookout points to enjoy different angles of the gorgeous coast. Further we spent time in Otaru which was a nice relaxed end to the day. But what made this trip stand out was the three young folks in charge - Mia (my English-speaking guide), a separate Korean-speaking guide (attached to the Korean travellers) and the driver who made sure we were safe and comfortable. Mia was so generous in sharing about her own experiences living in Sapporo, setting context to my own observations and experiences and giving a unique touch to the tour. She was equally enthused over the sights as me and it felt like travelling with a fellow traveller. Thank you for a wonderful day out!

Everything was great! I took a tour on August 3rd. The English-speaking group had a separate guide and a separate car, which was very good. The guide spoke excellent English. We had a guide named Ko, who is very knowledgeable and very educated and always ready to help. Driver also was nice and polite. The only thing is that one hour in Otaru isn't enough; please consider changing the schedule and adding two hours. I seriously was thinking staying in Otaru so the tour could return to Sapporo without me because one hour is not enough.

Loved seeing the beautiful coast, even underwater during the boat tour. The hike at Cape Kamui was doable, even in the summer heat. Ko was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and very friendly, with a lot of experience around the world and being born and raised in Sapporo. If there is one thing to improve, it's that we wish we had more time in Otaru. It was very crowded when we got there, so it was hard to try to see everything.

it was a nice tour.The tour guide Shei was really noce and explained everything to us.He speak very good English.The driver was also good .He drove very careful and mindful. The tour was very nice we are small group that made us more comfortable..I will do it again if i come back again in Sapporo..

This trip was amazing! The sea was unbelievably beautiful; I've never seen such a magnificent coastline. I will definitely recommend it to my friends! Ko and his companions were incredibly attentive and provided clear directions! Thank you so much for taking care of me!

It was our first time joining an English tour. Our tour guide, Ko, gave very clear and detailed explanations of the different spots. We really enjoyed the boat trip and feeding the seagulls. The bluish-green water was absolutely beautiful, and we were very glad to see such stunning scenery at Cape Kamui. We also had a delicious Shakotan sea urchin rice bowl (Uni Don), which was a fantastic highlight of the trip!

there were two tour leaders. Ko is pretty chill while Sky is very caring when she learned about our special needs. The best thing of this tour is that they provide ample time for wach activity. For those looking to do the long Cape Kamui hike, I definitely recommend this tour package because it is the only one that provides 1.5 hours of time. It takes a little over an hour when the cape is crowded with visitors. The ample time in Otaru is greatly appreciated. You don't feel rushed to fulfill all activities.

It was an excellent day. The places visited are beautiful. Although we couldn't take the boat due to bad weather, they took us to see another place to compensate. Baku was an incredible guide. I highly recommend this tour.
