Nagoya Kamikochi and Taisho Pond Nature Full-Day Hiking Tour

A convenient way to visit Kamikochi from Nagoya, no need to worry about public transportation time and crowd. The trip was wonderful and well organized. I'm so impressed with our tour guide, Yukino. She is kind and knowledgeable. She gave us a lot of information about the tour itself and also about where to go and what to do next around Nagoya. She speaks english and mandarin clearly and fluent. She made the trip become more better.

We enjoyed our kamikochi experience. It was cloudy that day but there were times that it would fade away revealing a really beautiful scenery- I highly recommend it esp for nature lovers. Our tour guide Ms Amy was very helpful. Overall our experience was just amazing. thank you Klook 😊

I took a quick weekend trip to Nagoya and finally visited Kamikochi, a place I'd always wanted to see. Since the route was long and booking tickets seemed too complicated, I opted for a one-day tour. Regarding the tour leader: Our leader, Xiao Shu, was very diligent, providing commentary in both English and Japanese on the bus. She'd speak in English first, then Chinese, which felt a bit like an English listening test. I understood about 95% of the English, with the remaining 5% being place names or proper nouns. Switching to Chinese afterward was like checking my answers, haha! Since Chinese is Xiao Shu's native language, her explanations in Chinese were even more comprehensive and rich. If you're proficient in both English and Chinese, you'll feel like you got a great deal! She offered three suggested routes, and Xiao Shu would walk along one of them. Whether you're traveling solo or with family and want photos, Xiao Shu was always happy to help, even proactively offering to take pictures. Regarding the sights: It was a weekend and peak summer vacation, so there were a lot of people. The weather that day was partly cloudy, and for some reason, I felt it didn't quite live up to my expectations (I'm not sure if I needed fewer clouds and a bluer sky). It might also be because I had just visited Oirase Stream and Lake Towada last month and really loved them (*¯︶¯*). At least I didn't quite understand the appeal of Taisho Pond here, haha. Overall: The sound of the rushing stream, the clear reflections of different shades of blue, the cicadas, and the green trees still made it a very pleasant outdoor experience. Xiao Shu, our guide, was also very easy to talk to. If you ever have Xiao Shu as your guide again, you can confidently put your trust in her! ❤️

The scenery is incredibly beautiful, and being there in person is truly breathtaking! I'm so glad I came in November during the autumn season, as there was both early snow and autumn foliage. And the weather was fantastic that day, so the photos I took looked like paintings and movies even without a filter. I highly recommend visiting in the fall.

our guide Suesy is very helpful and information given to us is clear. the bus we had cleaned and comfy. it’s a long journey to kamikochi but worth the visit.

Having a good tour guide who provides detailed explanations of the route on the bus allows visitors to plan how they want to explore. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and walking through such picturesque landscapes, you won't even feel tired.

This is a beautiful place, recommended for those who have a full day free, as the journey is quite long and will take up an entire day. There are two photo spots, but it's not suitable for the elderly because the walking paths might not be convenient. We were unlucky; on the day we went, our travel companion was late. The guide tried to call them, which wasted half an hour.

The trip was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish! Our tour guide was very kind, approachable, and helpful throughout the trip. Everything was well-organized, and we had such a fun and memorable experience. Definitely a great trip! 😊✨ For future trips, I hope you can provide a clearer and more detailed map or itinerary to make it easier and more convenient for guests to get around. The map provided this time was only a photo, and unfortunately, some of the words and place names were difficult to see and read. A clearer map would make navigating the trip much easier. The trip was nice and comfortable, it start very punctual. And I had plenty of time to explore Kamikochi, around 3.5 hours. The tour leader able to speak 4 languages, so there no issue with language barriers.

Our tour guide, Ms. Shu, was excellent! As a master's student, she was clear-headed and handled unexpected situations with ease. When Kamikochi was suddenly closed due to mountain conditions, she immediately led us to Magome-juku and Tsumago-juku instead. It turned out to be a wonderful surprise! We really enjoyed the perfectly planned day trip. Next time we visit Kamikochi, we hope to have the chance to book with your company again. The boss definitely needs to give Ms. Shu a raise, haha!
