Reviews
Kamikochi, known as "God's Homeland," truly is the most beautiful hiking destination. Walking along the Azusa River trail, nestled beneath the Hotaka mountain range, is incredibly refreshing. The breathtaking scenery, where the clear stream intertwines with the Hotaka peaks, is stunning and truly uplifting. Our tour guide, Yukino, was exceptionally dedicated on this trip. She meticulously prepared all the information, including introductions to attractions, suggested routes, and food recommendations, providing comprehensive details to all participants. She also catered to both Chinese and English-speaking guests, proving to be an incredibly diligent and responsible leader. Highly recommended!
i am glad that i was able to join this tour to kamikochi, the weather was perfect in the hot summer, 23-24 degrees Celsius, like air con, with beautiful mountains and river views and forest trek views. our guide liu chang was very professional and spoke in three languages, chinese. english n Japanese, which was super helpful and very detailed in her explanation about the two possible hiking routes for us day trippers and her explanation helped me make an informed decision about which hiking trail and the delicious apple pie that is famous in kamikochi! i love it!
It was a wonderful experience! We were lucky to have great weather that day, and Kamikochi was absolutely beautiful. The clear waters of Taisho Pond and the lingering snow on the Hotaka mountain range were truly breathtaking. Mr. Abe was a very steady driver, and our guide, Ms. Kuo, was also excellent. I hope to visit again when the autumn leaves change color.
Ruan Tao and Director Ruan's explanations were very clear. All the tour members were punctual, so we returned to Nagoya Station around 5 PM. We walked from Taisho Pond to Kappa Bridge (about 1.5 hours). The scenery was beautiful, like a painting! Luckily, the weather was great that day with a big, bright sun (it wasn't hot in September, just a bit cool, so you'll need a jacket and hat). Because of this, every photo turned out beautifully. It's just a pity that we didn't have enough time, otherwise I would have liked to continue exploring other routes. I hope to go again next time 🥰🥰🥰 There are quite a few places to eat, including restaurants and snack shops, but you need to be prepared to queue. You need to keep an eye on the time.
The guide is very patient and nice! Since it’s a hiking trip, be ready for a lot of walking. Some places are difficult to go to for people not used to hiking but the view is really pretty.
the place is lovely and it gives a relaxing vibe. Our bus guide “Jun” was also a nice person. You can see Monkeys and wild ducks. I prefer going weekdays for lesser crowd.
I was worried because it was a tour for Chinese tourists, but our guide, ZHANG, was so kind and explained everything so well that I really enjoyed it. Since he explained in Chinese, Japanese, and English, there was no need to worry about not understanding. I'm not sure if the driver was just fast, but the travel time was shorter than I expected, which was great! Also, other tours usually stay for 3 hours, but this one is 3 hours and 30 minutes, so you have plenty of time to enjoy! And for those who want to try the apple pie... if you don't go early, it sells out, and you won't be able to get any. Anyway, I'd love to go on this tour with this guide again next time!
Very stable. Kamikochi is truly beautiful; I'll definitely come back for another walk when I have the chance. I took many great photos. I was a bit worried about encountering bears, but thankfully I didn't. It's probably best to bring a bear bell and bear spray for safety. Many thanks to our guide Liu Mei and driver Master Cui along the way.
The Kamikochi day trip was a very comfortable experience! Our guide, Xiao Yu (Yukino), was incredibly attentive to every traveler and explained the itinerary in great detail. The different route options and pick-up/drop-off times were all very clear and easy to understand 💘. In addition to introducing the Kamikochi day trip, she also shared information about attractions and delicious food around Nagoya. Many thanks to Xiao Yu!! A perfect experience 💯
