What to expect

During our 4-hour walking tour, we’ll explore iconic landmarks of Kyoto

We’ll begin by strolling along the Kamogawa River, a popular spot for locals, then head to Shirakawa Street along the peaceful Shirakawa River, offering a perfect introduction to Gion. We’ll visit the Yasaka Shrine, founded in the 7th century, before walking through the historic streets of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, showcasing old Kyoto. We’ll also enjoy the greenery of Maruyama Park, famous for cherry blossoms in spring, and end at Hanamikoji Street, the traditional heart of Gion, with its machiya and teahouses
