The “2024 Rainbow Sightseeing Bus Tour” features three exclusive routes: the cultural tour, the music tour, and the movie tour, to introduce you to Taiwan's LGBT+ Equal Rights Movement, and to help you discover the rich and diverse charms of Taipei City!
From the Rainbow Starting Line or Rainbow Six, join us for a tour with rainbow, visit 228 Peace Park, and talk about the old days on Changde Street. Let‘s explore Ximen Red House Plaza and taste the exquisite wines and food. You can visit Treasure Hill, a historical structure in Gongguan, and enjoy the atmosphere of the community. Many LGBT+ movies have been filmed in Taipei City. Toward a Diverse and Harmonious Taiwan
After years of hard work, Taiwan officially passed the same-sex marriage bill in 2019, becoming the first country in Asia to legalize same-sex marriage, which not only protects the LGBT+ rights in Taiwan, but also demonstrates Taiwan's active attitude of tolerance and diversity. This year, Taiwan was awarded the “Best LGBTQ Trend Destination in 2024” by Spartacus Traveler in Germany.
Gender-Friendly and Inclusive Taipei
Taiwan is a pioneer in the gender equality movement, and Taipei City is one of the key birthplaces of this movement. Taipei is home to many attractions of special significance in the history of gender equality, and it is also an important venue for the Asian LGBT+ Pride Parade. Since the first Gay Pride Parade in 2003, Taipei City has been committed to creating a gay-friendly environment and becoming an international human rights city that embraces the LGBTQ+ community. The 22nd Taiwan LGBT+ Pride Parade will be held on October 26th, 2024.
Discovering Color Taipei
The Taipei Travel website has set up a special LGBT+ attractions area, "Travel by Rainbow", which introduces information on Taipei’s LGBT+ friendly destinations as well as gender-friendly spaces and stores. The Taipei Rainbow Sightseeing Bus allows the public to take a tour to experience the diversity and friendliness of Taipei, and to gain an in-depth understanding of the history and current status of the LGBT+ equal rights movement in Taiwan through on-site visits to LGBT+ friendly attractions in Taipei. - One ticket for one person, please bring along your ticket (KLOOK Voucher).
- Please be sure to arrive at the designated location 10 minutes beforehand. Late arrivals will not be accepted to avoid delays.

The service attitude of the staff is good and they will help to deal with any problems. The queen control room is great and they can adapt to the situation. The atmosphere in the car is very good. At the end of the bar trip, you can also watch the show.
It was my first time to ride a double-decker bus. Although it was difficult to see some scenic spots clearly due to the darkness at night, it felt great to sit on the upper deck at night and listen to the tour guide! VERA’s Meng Wei and Cai Zhen are also very handsome and cute, and they sing well. After the event, they went to the bar to drink and sing with their friends, and spent a wonderful night~
There is a short guided tour of the whole process, which is quite informative and interesting. You can also sing along with the in-depth introduction. The accompanying witch shop billiards day is very fun and the wine is strong enough.
FJ234 is really a very humorous host. He introduced carefully along the way and also gave a small gift pack for questions and answers. I was really happy. I hope they will be invited to host again next year.
This event is too short and the host participating in the event is not very good at hosting it.

Actually, I had a lot of fun at the event. It was my first time riding the Rainbow Bus. But I felt that it didn't fit the theme very well. There wasn't a very detailed introduction, and the explanation wasn't very carefully prepared. But the atmosphere was very good.
