Hotel Location: Located right across from Kyoto Tower on the north side of Kyoto Station, next to the subway station exit. Super convenient, it only takes a few minutes to get to any type of shop, which is fantastic. Transportation Convenience: Whether coming from the underground mall or crossing the traffic lights on the main road, you can quickly reach it. It's just one traffic light and a one-minute walk from the station, which is awesome! Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, acceptable. Service: Quick response to email confirmation of booking, friendly and very proactive staff on-site, for inquiries such as luggage storage. Facilities: There are three washing machines and dryers, which are sufficient. The lobby is on the second floor, with free tea and comfortable seating areas where you can watch Kyoto Station outside the window or read magazines. Dining: The 1st floor has a coffee shop next door and a Chinese noodle restaurant. I didn't eat there, so I can't comment. Other: It was a bit of a shame that this room had no view from the window. It's rare to find a double room where you can fully open a 28-inch suitcase, which is commendable.

Location: Kyoto Station itself is crowded, making it difficult to get out, but the hotel is easy to find as it's right in front of the station and very conveniently located. Breakfast: Refined, with a selection of dishes that demonstrate a certain level of expertise. The variety isn't extensive, but this is typical of Japanese hotels, so it's not really an issue. Service: Overall good, but the coin laundry is a bit disappointing. Washing is ¥600 for 30 minutes, and drying is ¥100 for 10 minutes, which feels a bit expensive for an in-hotel service. The problem is that drying takes longer than expected. Thin items might dry in 20 minutes, but items with cotton blends need at least 30 minutes, even if they're thin.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to Kyoto Station, making transportation a breeze. The in-room amenities are top-notch, including a ReFa FINE BUBBLE U showerhead, which is like the "LV" of showerheads! It's incredibly refreshing, and I've never used such an amazing showerhead before!

Convenient transportation, right near Kyoto Station, and only 80 minutes to Kansai Airport. Easy access to attractions, highly recommended! Large rooms.

Great hotel location, just a three-block walk from the train station. Courteous staff, and the room cleanliness was impeccable. The three-part bathroom design and spaciousness were also appreciated.

with the most spacious room compared to hotel code shinsaibashi and apa hotel namba shinsaibashi higashi, both located in Osaka. note that the room I booked in these hotels are good for 2 (and i was a solo traveler), but sotetsu has the widest floor area so it was very comfortable for me.
