The Sandbar Walk & Bike Ride
The pine-covered sandbar, about 3.6 km long, can be crossed on foot or by bike. Lined with nearly 8,000 pine trees, it connects the southern end near Chionji Temple to the northern side, where you'll find shops, restaurants, and hotels. Walking the full length takes about 50 minutes, while cycling is a quicker option.
Amanohashidate Cruises & Tours
For a different perspective, cruises and tours around Miyazu Bay provide spectacular views of the sandbar from the water. Tickets can be purchased in advance or reserved at local counters near Amanohashidate Station.
Chion-ji Temple
