Things to do in Osaka

Easy to use, just print paper ticket with qr code, no need to scan into the app, it still works. Great value with the 3000 yen vouchers, can be used to buy anything - souvenirs or food. I bought express passes as well separately, so queues were 30min max or less. If without express pass, expect queues to be 1-3hr. Otherwise single rider queues looks short as well probably mostly less than 1hr or 30min. But with express pass it's difficult to catch the shows because your timings are fixed for ur rides.

Highly recommend 2 day pass if you staying in Osaka. we did day 1- Umeda tower (must do) the open roof experience was great, Osaka castle and the Figurine mueseum adjoining the castle, the boat ride along the castle and then the boat ride in Dotombori. day 2 we did- Tsutenkaku observatory, slide and walk and dive and littl bit of zoo, tempozan sunset cruise and ferris wheel. We would have utilised 3-4 times what we spent

We thought this was included on Kansai Fun Pass (but wasn’t) sowe have to purchase the pass. Booking with Klook was really easy, we were on the site already, and booking confirmation was swift and seamless. I suggest purchasing on Klook than queuing for the physical tickets for hours. Ticket for Osaka Castle already includes the neighboring musuem too!

Umeda Sky Building is definitely worth a visit. The Floating Garden Observatory gives you amazing 360° views of Osaka, especially beautiful during sunset and at night when the city lights start to glow. The open-air rooftop feels unique compared to other observatories. The building itself is also very modern and photogenic.

Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan - Osaka Bay Area There are a lot of people queuing to buy tickets on-site, so it's best to buy tickets online in advance. However, you must enter within the specified time; you cannot enter early. (Online ticket purchases seem to start from 15:00 at the earliest.) It's a relatively family-friendly marine aquarium. Water Gate - First, you pass through a circular vaulted tunnel to greet the large aquarium creatures. Then, you enter the aquarium according to geographical and ecological zones. Main Tank Area: Consists of forests, rainforests, land, islands, rivers/bays, trenches, straits, oceans, etc., allowing you to appreciate various marine animals from multiple angles, from the surface down, from shallow to deep water layers, such as sea lions, penguin colonies, and various colorful fish. Continue downwards along the tank to explore other marine creatures: dolphins, manta rays, whale sharks, sunfish, sea turtles. Special Exhibition Tank - The special tank on the other side features different cuttlefish and octopuses. Jellyfish Galaxy - Jellyfish Exhibition Area: Exhibits different types of jellyfish. Arctic Zone - Exhibits polar cold-water creatures, fish, and you can even encounter angel fish that you've seen in Hokkaido before. Special Themed Exhibition (Naturally Adorable) - A very interactive area suitable for children, including clownfish, golden garden eels, and red shrimp. Little Penguin Zone - The last exhibition area, with glass fences for separation, it's rare to see so many little penguins indoors. Gift Shop - Located next to the penguin area, where you can buy some ornaments, clothing, and souvenirs. Since the Osaka Bay area has shopping malls and the Kaiyukan, you can also combine it with the "Osaka Amazing Pass" according to your preferences to participate in free activities such as the Santa Maria sightseeing ship, Tempozan Ferris Wheel, and Classic Car Museum.

Surely worth it as i can view the whole Osaka! To those who read my review, i do suggest this 1st follow by Tsutenkaku 通天閣 and Tennoji Zoo 天王寺動物園. It is within the same area. After this area, i go to Osaka port for the other location. Up to you, but i Harukas is a must go...

When you enter, you have to remove your shoes and put them in a locker, which will be the same key number for your locker in the gender changing rooms. Also, the locker key is how the facility will keep track of your purchases to pay at the end. The food was delicious, and they have a wide variety of options. It was great seeing locals enjoy spending time with their family at the onsen. I would definitely come back to Solaniwa.

Beautiful and magical place. A bit of advice though if you’re going as a group: designate one to lead you and have them always hold up a glow stick of some sort or establish a meeting spot if ever you get separated from each other. The place is pretty sark as all of the exhibits are lighted up. Our group constantly got separated while going through the exhibits. Some of our companions were not able to see the other exhibits because they got separated from us. Luckily, we all had wifi so we called each other and established a meet up point.
