The staff's service was very impressive. The service was good and they were always smiling, making the stay a very memorable night. When I checked in, the staff noticed it was my birthday and gave me a birthday pin and sent a birthday cake to my room. The staff was helpful throughout my stay. There is a shuttle service from the hotel to Disneytown and Disneyland. On the day of my departure, I met Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Bo Peep at the hotel and took pictures with them. The wait time was not long at all. I was very impressed. I loved the atmosphere in the hotel very much. The rooms were clean and there were Disney cartoons to watch. It was an unforgettable birthday stay. If I have the opportunity, I will come back again.

This was my first trip to Shanghai Disney, and also my first time staying at the Land Hotel! After arriving at the airport, I took a taxi to the hotel. Upon arrival, the bell staff greeted me with smiles, helped with my luggage, and provided guidance. I felt very relieved! The front desk staff also used a translator to explain everything in Japanese and were very helpful! The hotel lobby and amenities were decorated for Halloween, so it was continuous cuteness✨ On the morning of my final day, I had breakfast at the hotel. It was visually appealing and delicious, so I was very satisfied. Mickey & Minnie greeted me with high-fives and we took pictures together, which was so relaxing. I would love to stay here again when I visit Shanghai!

Worth the price. They have free shuttle service so you don’t have to worry when you go to the airport, Disneyland and The Bund. There is also nearby metro station, around 5-10 minutes walk.

This was my first time staying at a hotel in China, specifically in Shanghai, and I was very impressed. They allowed me to check in early at 8 AM, even though the actual check-in time is 2 PM. Amazing, they really went above and beyond! I almost wanted to wai (Thai greeting) them. Hotel location: 5/5

Grand central hotel was just situated 1 min away from the famous nanjing walking street. there is a Lawson opposite the hotel as well. Do note that during winter/cold weather, they will not turn on the central air con and might have issue sleeping.

If your trip goal is to go to Disneyland this hotel is for you. Very new and clean inside our room. I added the hotel WeChat via phone number and ask for route to arrive at the hotel. They prepared a car to pick me up from Airport link station.The staff at the front desk were very nice and accommodating. I joined the hotel “Bus Information” group chat on WeChat to get information about when and where to take bus to-from Disneyland. Very convenient. The hotel have standard Chinese hotel breakfast (Fried dough, steamed corns and sweet potato, several stir fried Chinese dishes, pork bun, Mantou, osmanthus cake, boiled egg and fried egg, sausages, ham, milk, soy milk. it’s generallly an ok breakfast if your main goal is to eat to have energy to go to Disneyland. We got lost on the second day so we texted the hotel staff and they help us find a transport back to the hotel safely. I highly recommend this hotel for pocket friendly hotel if your main destination is Disneyland.

The room was nice. Beside the hotel, there is a store or grocery where you can buy necessities. It's also about a 5 to 7-minute walk to Yu Yuan Garden Station, which is a metro station, and a few minutes to Yu Yuan Garden itself. It's very convenient because there are several convenience stores nearby. The staff are good, and we had a good experience.

There are several JI HOTEL locations near Nanjing East Road, so blog reviews can sometimes be confusing as to which branch they're referring to. This review is for the Shanghai People's Square branch. Gaode Map search: 全家酒店（上海人民广场店） (JI Hotel (Shanghai People's Square)). It's right next to the No. 1 Department Store (第一百货商店) where Xian Jiu Yi Qian (现九一千) is located, and the nearest station is People's Square Station (人民广场站) on lines 1/2/8, which is about a 5-minute walk away. If you enter the New World City (新世界城) across the street and use the passage towards the underground food court, it's directly connected to Exit 19. It's hot, so take advantage of the air conditioning as much as possible. As rumored, they offered an upgrade for an additional fee at check-in, but I declined. There's a window that doesn't open, and instead of an outside view, it looks out onto a courtyard-like area connected to the opposite hallway. It seems that rooms labeled "INNER" are of this type. They cleaned the room every day, and when I ordered delivery, a robot came to deliver it to the door, which was amazing and convenient. The lobby on the 9th floor also lends out umbrellas, and they don't check the room number, so you can just use one and put it back. I booked a room for around 100,000 KRW per night, including the weekend during the peak summer season, so I felt it was a good value for the price. The convenience store on the first floor is only open until 10 PM, so please keep that in mind.
