Lake Toya tours

Had a nice chill day out.. no stress and well taken care of by our guide David, who is helpful and friendly. Shared lots of food tips with us too. Strongly recommend if do not want to bother with all the transport and miscellaneous stuffs.

There was a small incident when we were gathering in the morning. We got on the bus as soon as we saw it, and did not meet the tour guide at the door first (please note this if you want to book tickets). As a result, the tour guide could not find us, which affected the departure time a little. I'm really sorry. The overall trip was great. The tour guide was very good at switching between Chinese, English and Japanese. He tried his best to answer any questions during the trip and was very humorous. The attractions were all very magnificent and beautiful, but it was a bit of a pity that the visiting time at each attraction was short. But that was also why we visited many attractions! The bus was very comfortable and I didn't feel tired at all during the whole journey. If you want to have a rich and free day tour experience, I highly recommend participating in this activity. This also allowed me to see the cherry blossoms at the end of May! There is a whole row of them blooming right next to Lake Toya, so happy.

Today's itinerary was fantastic! The schedule was exactly as described. Lake Toya and Lake Hill Farm were incredibly beautiful, and the bears at the Bear Park were so cute. Especially our guide, David, who was absolutely amazing! 👍👍 He gave us so much information about Hokkaido and each attraction, and his recommendations for food and activities were spot on. He was the best guide we've had during our trip to Hokkaido! We watched the fireworks on the lake, enjoyed a day trip to a Toya Lake onsen (hot spring), ate ice cream and fried chicken, and appreciated the beauty of Hill Farm and Lake Toya. It was a perfect day!

This is actually my second trip to Noboribetsu as it is slightly different from last year. Went to both of the top (Lake Toya Observatory) and bottom (Toyako Onsen) of Lake Toya and the difference of the view is amazing! If you are at Lake Toya Observatory, do remember to buy the 雪華馬油 and the SPF30 Lavander infused sunblock！ Sold only exclusively at the observatory and the Windsor Hotel nearby and you can’t find it anywhere else! Hell Valley was nice too if you don’t mind the smell of sulphur (imagine the smell of rotten eggs)!

A lovely day visiting various sites. The views are beautiful. The bus was comfortable and very clean (with strong air conditioning which was absolutely needed for a hot and humid summer's day). We had a group of 40+ all of whom were thankfully very punctual at every stop. The driver was courteous and drove smoothly. Alex our tour guide was very professional and informative. He took it in turn to give instructions and information in Japanese, Mandarin, and then English.

I love the places we visited specially the lakes and Lake hill farm, however the fireworks is underwhelming and we waited for almost 3hrs for that. Our tour guide Grace is reallyy nice i’m the only english speaker in our group and she translates everything for me.

It snowed heavily the day before ❄️, and the weather was super good with blue sky and white clouds the next day when we participated in a one-day tour. It was just powder snow so we rode our own snowmobile. It was easy to control and a very enjoyable ride. Halfway through, we had 30 minutes to take photos, play in the snow, and ride on a skateboard. The tour guide Tenzo was also very enthusiastic and introduced and shared the must-try things in Hokkaido. The whole trip was very enjoyable! For some self-funded trips, it is recommended to inform the approximate amount, because you need to pay in cash, but you can prepare more in advance. Otherwise, now that everyone has switched to electronic payment or credit card, you won’t carry so much cash. Although there are also times to withdraw money at convenience stores, it is of course better to prepare in advance~

The tour guide is friendly, kind and handsome. I arrived late and was still waiting for the tour via the KLOOK application. It's really the best. This is my 3rd time traveling via KLOOK. Basically, KLOOK is really the best.
