Passeios por Lake Toya

That was the highlight of my trip to Japan. Our guide Tetsu was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The hotels we stayed at were amazing. The itinerary was well thought out, and every single spot was breathtaking.

The tour date was October 29, 2025. We were unable to visit Hoheikyo Gorge due to the previous day's snowfall, which was a bit disappointing, but it allowed us to see the autumn leaves in the snow at Jozankei. Since there was limited time at each attraction, I recommend bringing your own lunch or buying it from a convenience store to enjoy by Lake Toya, which will give you more time to appreciate the scenery. For Mount Usu Ropeway, pay attention to the schedule as it's a more rushed stop on the itinerary. We were very lucky to have punctual and friendly group members, and thanks to Tour Guide Zhou and the driver for making the trip run smoothly. Overall, it's a very convenient option for independent travelers. (Note: Seats on the right side of the bus offer a close-up view of Mount Yotei on the return journey.)

Our family of 5 took the trip with our guide, Lucy. She’s helpful and informative. The trip was very accommodating to our plan getting around the area. Our highlight was the Lake hill farm. unfortunately we didn’t stay long there but we enjoyed our time during the trip.

I recently took this one-day tour to Lake Toya and Lake Shikotsu, and it was absolutely worth the money. It is a very well-paced itinerary that allowed us to see several of Hokkaido’s most beautiful natural landmarks within a single day without feeling overly rushed. Our guide, Xixi, was fantastic. She was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make the trip memorable. Not only did she provide great commentary on the sights we visited, but she also shared a wealth of "insider" recommendations for other locations to visit in Hokkaido and pointed us toward the "best in category" restaurants for local food.

It was a relaxing trip south of Sapporo to see some nature. I enjoyed way too many ice creams. The gelato at Lake Hill Farm was really, really good, and I've had a lot of ice creams. We had Lucy as our guide; she shared a lot of information about Hokkaido and was really passionate about the city :) Everything was communicated smoothly, and we all had a great time.

Lucy is the most dedicated and responsible tour guide I've encountered in recent years. From departure to our return home, all process explanations were exceptionally clear, allowing us to travel with peace of mind. Lucy provided us with a wealth of knowledge about Hokkaido's history, culture, and gourmet information, ensuring that we not only relaxed fully on the bus but also enjoyed comprehensive and fascinating explanations. Our bus driver was also very conscientious, with first-class driving skills, maintaining stability even on winding mountain roads. For a long-distance bus journey, we need a reliable driver, and today's driver truly showed us the meticulous and serious side of the Japanese people. I am extremely satisfied with this tour. The itinerary planning was even more value for money! I will definitely participate again in the future! I also hope to specifically request Lucy to be my five-star tour guide again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

很幸運遇到的導遊小洪，剛好是台灣人，有介紹北海道的歷史，沿途的風景，更重要的是他會中.英.韓文。唯一美中不足的可能是路途遙遠，有些景點只能短暫停留，但導遊小洪一路上也會貼心提醒大家上下車時間和物品有沒有帶齊，感謝有他的帶領，讓人更認識了北海道。

Today's itinerary was fantastic! The timing was exactly as described, and Lake Toya and Lake Hill Farm were incredibly beautiful. The bears at the bear ranch were so cute. Our guide, David, was absolutely amazing! 👍👍 He gave us so much information about Hokkaido and each attraction, and his recommendations for food and fun were spot on. He was the best guide we encountered during our trip to Hokkaido! We watched fireworks from the boat, enjoyed a day-trip hot spring bath at Lake Toya, ate ice cream and fried chicken, and admired the hill farm and Lake Toya. A perfect day!
