The tour was very punctual according to the schedule. The guide was lovely and helpful, taking photos and providing good travel information. The itinerary might have been a bit too packed, leaving little time at each stop. We used a large, comfortable bus with overhead storage. The roadside views were beautiful.
The trip was very smooth and we really liked our guide Tom. He was very nice and accommodating and can speak 3 languages (Chinese, English, Japanese). The lunch spot he recommended to us in Lake Toya was absolutely delicious as well! Enjoyed the trip overall but I do wish we had more time at each spot, though I understand there is limited time overall.
This day tour offered a good opportunity to experience the dramatic volcanic landscapes of Hokkaido. The highlight was Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley), where steaming vents and rugged terrain clearly show the powerful geothermal forces beneath the region. Walking through the area provided a close look at the natural volcanic formations that shape this part of Hokkaido. The stop at Lake Toya was also very enjoyable. The calm lake surrounded by mountains created a peaceful contrast to the volcanic scenery earlier in the day, and the views across the water were beautiful. One stop included the bear park, which may be interesting for some visitors. However, it would be better if the bears could be observed and monitored by bear experts in a more open and natural environment rather than within enclosures. Special thanks to our guide Andy, who kept the tour well organised. Overall, the tour provided a clear introduction to the natural volcanic landscape of Hokkaido and was.
10/10 tour experience with Oscar the guide! This was one of the highlights of my Hokkaido trip and I had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the spots on the itinerary. The guide, Oscar, was incredible and really passionate about sharing animal facts, the history of the spots, etc., recommended food and even skin products! He was very funny and my group and I had a very enjoyable experience. Oscar was very cognizant about time which was greatly appreciated. He even had pictures of your spots and food recommendations. The bus itself was spacious and clean as well and a very smooth ride despite the snow. The spots on the tour were fun and we were able to see so many spots in a single day. This is a very reasonable price as well and you get a lot out of it if you are tight on time. Thank you again for a great trip!
The one-day tour itinerary was quite fulfilling, allowing easy exploration of Noboribetsu and Lake Toya even without a car. Our guide, Ms. Onodera, was kind and humorous, providing thorough explanations of each attraction's history and recommending Hokkaido's best food, drinks, and entertainment. The meeting point was clear, the weather was excellent, and the scenery was incredibly beautiful. There was ample time at each stop for photos. For lunch, we simply bought items at a convenience store and enjoyed them by Lake Toya while admiring the view. At Cape Chikyu, on a clear day, you could see Hakodate across the bay, truly feeling the curvature of the Earth. Those who hadn't purchased tickets for the Bear Park could buy them from the guide upon arrival or explore Showa Shinzan outside. Along the mountain roads, we were pleasantly surprised to occasionally spot wild deer. At the Lake Toya observation deck's souvenir shop, you could buy yogurt drinks, balloon pudding, birch sap, and lavender-related products, while medicinal horse oil was available at the Bear Park. I believe this tour offers excellent value for money.
a must go destination / tour if you’re visiting Hokkaido! lake shikotsu was my favourite part, the yamasen bridge was beautiful. we actually had tour guide lisa yang two days in a row for two different tours, and she was so lovely and helpful in both! she did her best to help us resolve a ticketing issue with klook which we really appreciated! she’s also very good at taking photos :) that said, I don’t recommend purchasing tickets to see the bear ranch as it’s quite small and it’s a bit unsettling to see the bears locked up :( other than that, everything else in this tour was absolutely amazing 💕 thank you lisa!
Our guide, Alex, was great and helped to take photos of many of us. He also shared bits and pieces of information about the attractions we went to in English and Chinese. The timings allocated for each attraction was also just nice. For those without transport, this was worth the money.
We were so lucky to book tours with Guide Onodera twice in a row! The experience of a one-day tour is truly great, saving a lot of effort and hassle! We learned about the different cultures and history of Hokkaido through the guide's gentle voice, and visited many beautiful places, experiencing the true scenery of the northern country. It was a huge shock for us three kids from cities without snow! Hokkaido is a very charming place. Thank you, Guide Onodera, for your thoughtful care. It really felt like being well taken care of by a distant elder relative in a foreign land 🥹 I hope to meet EasyGo and Guide Onodera again next time I visit the city of Sapporo!
Thanks to tour guide Emma's enthusiasm and detailed explanations, our family's Hokkaido trip was made even more wonderful. The weather today was very clear, so the scenery at every spot was beautiful. The food Emma recommended was delicious, and the bus was very spacious and comfortable to ride. Highly recommended!
My family and I really enjoyed Oscar's tour! He was very insightful about a variety of all things Japan. He made sure that everything was smooth and engaging. He was so engaging, in fact, that even when he was speaking in a language I could not speak, I was listening. The tour itself was very captivating. My family and I loved the smooth travel and the views. The scheduling was also just right for each attraction. Overall, we would rate the tour a perfect 10/10! (The bear farm was our favorite!)
