Daphne, our guide is such a delight to be with because of her high energy and positive spirit. It has been a fun trip despite of the weather and a little chaotic transfer. It is better to join the tour on weekends since there are small buses that go straight to Jiufen.

During the 1 hour and 30 minute drive, our guide, Jo Ja-yang, told us about Taiwan's history, restaurants, and travel points, so we didn't get bored. My heart was heavy because we were traveling in the midst of domestic chaos, but thanks to our guide, I was able to put that heavy heart down for a moment. Except for the fact that there were too many travelers from all over the world, it was a very satisfying trip.

Great trip outside the city. Quite a big group, and was shuttled in a bus. Quite a number of stops but each stop had sufficient time. glad that this trip ended with jiufen, where we were able to see it both in the day, to sunset, to night.
