Daphne, our guide is such a delight to be with because of her high energy and positive spirit. It has been a fun trip despite of the weather and a little chaotic transfer. It is better to join the tour on weekends since there are small buses that go straight to Jiufen.

This is my first time to visit the Marine Science and Technology Museum. There are many interactive facilities inside. Both adults and children have a lot of fun. I can stay here for a whole day. I will visit again next time.

Joining the tour with Klook for Sky Latern in Shifen Old Street will lessen the hassle of going to the site by yourself. The tour operator, led by our Tour Guide Vickie Hu is highly recommended for first time tourists in Taiwan. We find this tour very well organised and worth your time and money. The experience of writing your wishes in the lantern is quite exciting and beautiful. The history of this activity was well explained by Vickie, for that we are thankful as well. The only thing we did not enjoy is the volume of people in the site by the time we arrived, but we understand it in the end. Overall, it was a fun day at Shifen old street. Thanks Vickie and Klook, keep up the good work guys.
