We had a great lantern experience in Shifen and booked through Happy Lantern. The photos and videos taken by the staff were amazing, we loved every single one of them. They really knew how to capture the best moments. We also appreciated that they let us be the ones to release the lantern ourselves, which made the experience even more special and meaningful. Highly recommended!

Interesting class to make your own pineapple cake. Recipe makes 10 where 9 will be packed into box and 1 can be enjoyed on the spot. However, baking details were not shared during my session, e.g. to bake how long at what temperature etc. Session includes visiting their museum to learn more on Chinese culture, NT$50 voucher which can be used in their store at Level 1 and a Tea set. At the end, they even have a lucky draw to win their cookies and also capsules to win toys for the kids.

The video instructions were very easy to follow and the staff was super helpful and could speak very good English. The experience was super nice and we really enjoyed our time there. They have a variety of 60 essential oils that you can use to create your own signature smell. They also documented everything, if you ever want to recreate the same scent again. The vibe was also very peacful and calm. After a while, smelling all the different essential oils we got a little dizzy and scent disoriented/ scent blind. In the video, they recommend to smell your wrist or go outside to calm down, which helped a little. I was surprised that they didn’t provide a little box with coffee (beans) to smell, which I find most helpful to neutralize scents and conquer dizzyness. I really enjoyed the whole making process though. Thank you!

Please do this with your partner! you will not regret it. Our class was hosted by the owner Vic & his partner Lucas. Both of them were VERY sweet and kind. I was worried that the language barrier and me not speaking mandarin might make things difficult, but they were very accommodating & understood a ton of English! even if you don’t speak Chinese, I highly recommend trying this class. initially my partner was very worried about doing everything on her own, but Lucas was incredibly helpful and hands on with helping us if we were ever doing something wrong. The instructions were clear, and the ring making itself felt easy and fun. I was able to make a full sterling silver ring along with my partner that we’ll cherish forever. Very happy we booked. Was a fun class. Instructor Angela was great and made it easy for us who never worked with dough before. Location was easy to find and we had a chance to meet and interact with other participants. Would definitely do it again!

The lovely staff member who helped us was so kind and gentle, making the whole process feel warm and personal. The atmosphere in the studio was cozy, creative, and full of good vibes.

I had a fantastic experience at the Xinyi branch of this salon! The staff were incredibly friendly and polite. The location is convenient, which is a definite plus. The shampooing was so relaxing; it felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Before the haircut, the stylist took great care to communicate with me, ensuring that they understood my needs and expectations. I'm very satisfied with the final result. I highly recommend this salon!
