    Scary or not, here they come!

    It’s that time of the year again when spooky themes and the endless fun of dressing up reign supreme. Although Halloween is often associated with events that are hell-bent on scaring you, other Halloween activities in Manila will bring you just the right amount of eerie vibes but still loads of thrill and excitement. 
    We listed down some Halloween activities for you to try and join this month, so mark your calendars and see what’s best for you and your friends!

    1. Nightmares Manila

    Formerly known as Asylum Manila, Nightmares Manila reopened with a whole lot to offer for those who dare to test their tolerance and bravery for all things spooky. If you’re looking for a good scare this Halloween, you can choose to visit two of the 5-in-1 haunted attractions in Nightmares Manila. The Halloween costumes are on the next level; with the latest horror-style animatronics, frightening live actors, and Hollywood-like special effects, you better prepare for your nightmare-turned-into-a-reality moment.
    There’s the Nightmares Haunted House, a dark walk-through horror attraction where you enter a young girl’s nightmares. Then there’s the Haunted School House, a Japanese-themed schoolhouse.
    There are four creatively-designed escape rooms to get your adrenaline pumping while the chilling Zombie Assault will give you a real-life experience on how to survive a zombie apocalypse. Here, you get to shoot zombie actors, targets, and props.

    2. Chinese Cemetery Tour

    Not a Halloween event per se, but if you’re looking for an unusual Halloween activity, this guided walking tour around Manila’s Chinese cemetery will do the trick. Hallyuween, the first-ever K-Pop Halloween party will unleash your K-spirits by bringing in acclaimed K-Pop stars like CL and Pentagon. You’ll also get to see the P-Pop group BGYO during this fun-filled event on October 29, 2022. Hallyuween will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay. Not only that, but K-Pop fans will also have the chance to purchase some merch a week before the party, and special activities are prepared for the fans. 
    Prepare your best Halloween costume for you might just win the “Best Zombie Army Award” and the “Best Intergalactic Look Award.” The prizes include golden tickets to any show organized by PULP from this year to 2023 and gift certificates for an overnight stay at a five-star hotel.

     4. Diamond Fun Zone

    If you plan to attend a wholesome, family-friendly Halloween activity, Diamond Hotel Philippines is ready for some trick-or-treat party. They’ve got loads of treats and games to celebrate Halloween this October 30, 2022. The Diamond Fun Zone will give you the chance to trick or treat your way around the hotel from 10 am to 12 noon. There are also inflatable and arcade games for kids throughout the day. The ticket is priced at P750 per person.

    5. A Harry Potter Halloween

    Potterheads will surely have a blast during this party at the Manila House Private Members Club in Taguig. Get to experience a magical Halloween complete with a delicious brunch buffet, magic show, games, and treats. If you have kids with you, dress them like they’re attending Hogwarts to immerse them in the experience fully. Kids in their wizard and witch costumes will win special gift sets.

    6. One Night in Intramuros

    WanderManila is bringing back its in-person walking tours with a twist. As they launch “The Longest Night, a month of Dark Tales and Historical Frights,” they’ll hold a One Night in Intramuros tour this October 8, 9, and 22. The Walled City is rich in history and Filipinos would be interested to have a spooky night, while at the same time learning their history.

    7. One Night in Ermita

    In the newest Halloween event by WanderManila, you’ll get to explore Ermita’s historical corridor and other places worth checking out. Hear out new stories and new horrors to revisit when you spend a night on October 31, 2022 (5 pm).

    8. Gabi ng Paniki: Halloween Party + Medisina Album Launch

    If you’re into OPM and Halloween, this Halloween activity is a melting pot of your interests. Local musician Zild Benitez will launch his latest album “Medisina” at the Gabi ng Paniki Halloween party in Whitespace Manila this October 29, 2022. The event will start at 4 pm with live performances from Zild, One Click Straight, ena mori, and Barbie’s Cradle. Don’t forget to wear your best Halloween costume for you to win exciting prizes once you bag the “Best Costume” award.
