Kyoto: Gion and Higashiyama Walking Tour

Our tour guide Hiroki was very friendly, knowledgeable, and funny . He brought a treat for us which was very thoughtful. We got to see 5 beautiful Geisha😍. After the tour, he showed us a cool Pokémon manhole that we’ve been searching for since we got to Japan, so that was pretty awesome. Even made some reservations for us that we wouldn’t have found on our own best birthday tour. Would definitely recommend.

I really really enjoyed the tour, Hiroki was funny, talkative and very informative! He even showed us a good place to eat after the tour! It was a great way to end the day and I would recommend him to others as well 😊 thanks again, it was a pleasure!

Best experience on a tour in Japan… our guide gave us such a wonderful view of Kyoto and so many great things to do beyond our walking tour time together. He explained so many parts of Gion and how a local would see and hear and smell the smells… that it transformed Kyoto for us and we are truly thankful.

Unfortunately this tour was not up to standard, the tour guide gave no information about anything, it was not a tour but just a walk to 3 shrines. It also finished 50 minutes early. I feel cheated to have spent money on something I could have done myself. I spoke to the company who have been friendly and informed me this is not what they would expect from there guides. I hope other peoples experiences are better as the whole experience left us feeling quite sour about Kyoto.
