Reviews
The travel time wasn't too long, and we started our day by visiting Noboribetsu Jigokudani (Hell Valley), where we enjoyed sightseeing. We also had a unique experience feeding bears at the Bear Park. Afterward, we took the ropeway to the summit of Mount Usu and were deeply moved by the incredibly beautiful scenery. We were able to see Lake Toya, even though it was a bit cloudy, and enjoyed a delicious gelato and a break at Lake Hill Farm. The snowmobiling experience that followed was something we don't usually get to do, making it very memorable! The tour guide also provided explanations in Japanese, making for a very fulfilling and enjoyable day. It was a fantastic tour, and we were completely satisfied with our day!
Had a great and memorable experience with this tour. Weather was pleasant the day we joined in so we were able to enjoy the sceneries, all the places were so beautiful! 😍We opted for Mt. Usu Ropeway instead of the bear ranch and greeted by these views! Our tour guide Lucy was very efficient, speaks fluent english so instructions are easy to understand and communication was a breeze and we were able to make the most of the places we visited. Also learned a lot from her about the culture, history and must-tries of Hokkaido! There is ample time for each place to just see the highlights, but might feel a bit rushed if you want to explore and feel the places more.
This was the second time we had Kevin as our tour guide this trip! My mom and I had a fabulous time seeing all these sights for today’s journey which felt organized, timely, and full of much knowledge! We had issues with 2 of our tour buses but he was able to transition us easily and smoothly into our current bus which made us feel safe! Overall I think the itinerary was well planned and included many different sightseeing spots in Hokkaido! We especially enjoyed Hell Valley which had interesting views of the volcanic crater and had delicious milk pie at Lake Hill Farm! Kevin was a joy to have as our tour guide and provided a lot of good information about the sightseeing spots, recommendations for food, and tips/advice! We would definitely book this tour again and highly recommend it to friends who are visiting!
Chillin was very accommodating to our request for an english guide and was able to provide an excelent experience, despite us only knowing minimal Japanese. The only thing that could change your experience is the weather. The places chosen were varied and all nice views/great fun. The pro tips given during transfer from place to place came in handy and were overall great recommendations.
We were incredibly lucky to have tour guide Hikaru Huang again for our Hokkaido trip, and the overall experience truly exceeded our expectations! From the initial meeting to the end of the day's itinerary, Hikaru was exceptionally professional and attentive. He managed time perfectly, ensuring the schedule was smooth and unhurried, yet we still visited all the key attractions without wasting any time. We also loved his recommendations for local delicacies, such as yogurt and ice cream, which were all memorable and absolutely hit the spot! The overall atmosphere was very relaxed and stress-free. He thoughtfully pointed out great photo opportunities and free time, which was very considerate. At the end of the trip, he even recommended a local yakiniku restaurant, which was absolutely delicious! 👍🏻 This wasn't just a sightseeing tour; it felt more like a trip where we were genuinely well taken care of. If we visit Hokkaido again in the future, we will definitely choose Hikaru Huang again and recommend him to our friends!
Highly recommended. Perfect tour to include in your itinerary. The tour itinerary is perfectly timed and we had ample time to roam around the area. Our guide Jenny is one the best tour guide I have had from all the tours I joined in. She perfectly explained the places and there was never a dull moment.
This was a very fulfilling tour, allowing us to visit many famous Hokkaido sights in just one day! We were extremely satisfied, enjoying scenery unique to Hokkaido, such as Lake Toya and Noboribetsu Hell Valley.
My wife and I joined a day trip to Noboribetsu Hell Valley, Lake Toya, the Bear Park, and Mount Showa-Shinzan, and the overall experience was fantastic. We had a particularly great time. The natural scenery of Noboribetsu Hell Valley was stunning, with swirling steam, very characteristic of Hokkaido; the scenery of Lake Toya was beautiful, with clear lake water, making people feel very relaxed; the Bear Park was both interesting and a little exciting, allowing us to observe bears up close, which was very memorable; Mount Showa-Shinzan also made us feel the power of nature. Special praise goes to our guide Kevin, who was very dedicated, patient, and professional, providing clear explanations and reasonable time arrangements. The pace of the entire trip was just right, not too rushed, and not wasting time. Overall, it was a relaxing, fulfilling, and unforgettable trip, highly recommended for couples and families with children. I would particularly like to mention that the snowmobile ride is still very worthwhile.
This tour was very relaxed. Because all the group members were punctual, our tour guide, Jincheng (Eric), gave us extra time to explore and enjoy each attraction. This allowed us to fully experience each spot, which was fantastic! Eric himself was also very enthusiastic, humorous, and attentive. At meal stops, he would provide menus to the group members in advance, which greatly saved time spent deciding what to eat at the restaurant, allowing us to better enjoy our meals. Taiwanese travelers who like these attractions but don't want to walk much should consider this tour! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!
Our family of 5 took the trip with our guide, Lucy. She’s helpful and informative. The trip was very accommodating to our plan getting around the area. Our highlight was the Lake hill farm. unfortunately we didn’t stay long there but we enjoyed our time during the trip.
