We were incredibly lucky to have tour guide Hikaru Huang again for our Hokkaido trip, and the overall experience truly exceeded our expectations! From the initial meeting to the end of the day's itinerary, Hikaru was exceptionally professional and attentive. He managed time perfectly, ensuring the schedule was smooth and unhurried, yet we still visited all the key attractions without wasting any time. We also loved his recommendations for local delicacies, such as yogurt and ice cream, which were all memorable and absolutely hit the spot! The overall atmosphere was very relaxed and stress-free. He thoughtfully pointed out great photo opportunities and free time, which was very considerate. At the end of the trip, he even recommended a local yakiniku restaurant, which was absolutely delicious! 👍🏻 This wasn't just a sightseeing tour; it felt more like a trip where we were genuinely well taken care of. If we visit Hokkaido again in the future, we will definitely choose Hikaru Huang again and recommend him to our friends!

The trip was very smooth and we really liked our guide Tom. he was very nice and accommodating and can speak 3 languages (chinese, english, japanese). the lunch spot he recommended to us in lake Toya was absolutely delicious as well! Enjoyed the trip overall but I do wish we had more time at each spot. though i understand there is limited time overall.

We loved our Hokkaido Mount Yotei tour! The hotel pick-up and drop-off made everything so easy, and the small group size kept it relaxing. Our guide, Wei, was right on time and a very safe driver, so we felt totally comfortable the whole day. The schedule wasn't rushed at all, giving us plenty of time to sit back and enjoy each stop. Highly recommend Wei and this tour!

Had a great tour with Catherine. Visiting Jigokudani, Showashinzan, and Lake Toya on a tour is convenient. The weather at the start of summer was also pleasant, so we had a great time. We didn't go up the Usuzan Ropeway so we thought the pace and timing were just right. We were also back in Sapporo downtime early.

If you are someone who wants to take their time in one place, this tour isn’t for you. it’s fast-paced and you can visit a lot of places in one day. I especially appreciate the discount tickets that shops hand you when you get off the bus. (I think it was a special discount ticket for those on tour buses). Mila explained the background of the places we went to and recommended go-to-places around Hokkaido.

Fantastic 5.0
Today, we boarded at Datong as well. Two of our friends didn't make it, but there were really only two seats left on the bus, so it was a bit cramped. However, today's tour guide was excellent. Due to traffic jams and road closures, we arrived at the first scenic spot much later than scheduled, forcing us to shorten our visiting time. The tour guide was very apologetic and worked hard to come up with solutions to ensure we could complete all the行程. At noon, they even went to the convenience store to buy us drinks as compensation. Thank you very much! 👍 Overall, today's trip was pleasant and smooth!

I do enjoy this tour and highly recommend in you want to explore different area/places within Sapporo. I much better enjoy this compared to yesterday cherryblossom full day tour. Our tour guide Xixi also knowledgeable with the area and appreciate that she emphasize the time to go back in our bus. She also take good picture of me. The weather was also nice which added with the good tour. Perhaps will go back here with Fam and book this tour again. Thank you Klook 🥰

What to know before visiting Noboribetsu

What to expect in Noboribetsu

Noboribetsu is a compact hot-springs destination where Tours, Zoos & aquariums and Historical sites drive most bookings, with outdoor activities also popular for active travellers. Demand on Klook swings through the year, peaking in the winter and dipping to much lower levels in early autumn, so the rhythm of the year is easy to plan around.

Best time to visit and how prices behave

Klook booking data show the busiest month is January while demand falls to its lowest in September. Prices trend similarly overall: they climb toward the winter peak and are typically highest around January, while April shows the lowest typical prices compared with the priciest month. If you want smaller crowds and lower typical prices, aim for April through September; if you prefer peak-season atmosphere and the liveliest winter vibe, January is the month to target. Demand and prices mostly move together here, so busier months usually mean higher typical prices.

Tips for travellers from the Philippines

Most visitors from the Philippines book activities about four days in advance on average, with some booking as late as one day before; if you have a short trip you can still be flexible. For travel in the busy January period, consider booking earlier—around two weeks ahead—to secure popular tours and experiences on Klook.
