Things to do in Kameoka Station

We had a great time on the boat. The trip was just under 2 hours and ended right in the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove - perfect for seeing everything. The commentary was mainly in Japanese, with some English, and all the important information was provided in both languages.

The driver was very patient and friendly. The trip was comfortable and safe. My family and I are very grateful, and we all had an unforgettable day!

The tour was very convenient for traveling back and forth to the destinations. Brian was fluent in English, and I highly recommend him as a guide. We visited only three destinations: Nara Park, the 1,000 Torii Shrine, and the Kyoto Bamboo Forest. However, I suggest reminding the tour guide to inform all guests to respect seat assignments to avoid confusion. Also, the air-conditioning at the back of the bus was very warm, and we were moved there after our second destination. I would also recommend that the tour guide accompany guests during the tours to provide on-the-spot explanations about the history of each site and to assist in taking photos at the destinations.

I took a Kyoto day tour. The tour covered Arashiyama - Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) - Kiyomizu-dera Temple - Fushimi Inari Shrine, and it was great to efficiently visit Kyoto's iconic attractions in a single day. The guide provided entertaining explanations and took beautiful photos, which I really appreciated. It was a short but fulfilling trip.

We had the best day. There’s no way we would have been able to fit everything in if we had tried to do this on our own. Our guide was fantastic and made the day run so smoothly. Definitely do this trip if you’re wanting to see these amazing spots in Kyoto.

As this was my first time traveling to Kyoto, I didn't have much information. Thanks to guide Lee Guk-won from "A Bowl of Travel," who provided a comfortable and safe tour, I'm leaving with wonderful memories. Thank you for your hard work.

Even though the weather was extremely hot, I had a comfortable trip thanks to the kind explanations provided by our guide, Nam Ji-woong, for each course. It was nice that we could skip one of the four locations and rest on the bus due to the hot weather. Admission fees are required at three of the four locations, and the cost is 500 yen per person. It's worth visiting at least once, so I recommend it.

The entire ride lasts 1 hour and 40 minutes. There are 3 boatmen who are very friendly and constantly chat with guests, pointing out the scenery. The last rapid will splash a lot of water, so be sure to protect your clothes, otherwise you'll get wet. For the most part, the ride is very smooth.
