We brought our 6-year-old to experience this, and while I've worn a kimono in Japan twice before, it was a completely new and exciting experience for my child. The shop's environment was bright and clean, and its location near Senso-ji Temple was excellent. We visited in early March, before the peak cherry blossom season, but it still took nearly two hours for my daughter and me to get dressed and have our hair styled. I recommend allocating plenty of time. The longest wait was for changing clothes; compared to other shops I've visited, they seemed a bit understaffed. However, the results for the kimonos and hair accessories were outstanding, and we were very satisfied. We also booked a 30-minute photoshoot. The photographer was a friendly, Chinese-speaking woman who chatted and laughed with my child, like a kind older sister. The weather on the day of the shoot was lovely, and the sunlight and shadows were captured beautifully. We received an email notification with over a hundred photos that same day, and the results were excellent. Both the quality and price make this a highly recommended shop.

We felt beautifully dressed and ready for our walk around Asakusa and Sensō-ji. me & my 9 year old daughter had an amazing time making our own custom chopsticks. there were so many different woods to pick from categorized by difficulty, & each wood had a meaning which was super cute. I loved that the process was very easy and only took 4 simple steps. Tomo guided us through the process and it was extremely kind & helpful. amazing experience would definitely recommend for travelers to Tokyo & families.

This was such a fun, interactive experience for my family. I would suggest arriving early because we did get a little lost but thankfully didn’t miss much. Be sure to go to Ginza INZ and then you will find it or ask the locals. The host was so amazing as well as the sumo wrestlers. One of our sons were chosen to be a volunteer sumo wrestler. We learned so much about the sport and would definitely go back again. The light snacks were also good and cost effective. Such a wonderful experience.
