Our guide Yumi was excellent. She is fluent in English and was able to explain the background of the places we went to and was able to organize the trip efficiently. Transportation was very comfortable and we had our own shuttle to Ginzan Onsen so we didn’t need to fall in line for the public shuttle. Lunch was also very good and filling.

I personally think the overall experience was great however, The part i think need to be looked into is the time allowed for lunch break the highway stop is a little short. Other than that good job to the guide for the arrangement and hospitality.

Our tour guide, Lili, was very talkative, cheerful, and entertaining! The time allotted for each attraction was ample. There was a conflict between lunch and the cable car schedule, so we canceled lunch, but she still drove us to a supermarket and a restaurant for takeout to eat in the car, which was a great flexible option! The platform also processed the refund quickly afterward.

The driver was very punctual, which was a relief. The car was spacious and comfortable. It's a shame that tickets weren't included; otherwise, it would have been absolutely perfect. Overall, it was still great!

Excellent trip! Lili the tour guide was great. She knew the places really well and we passed by some beautiful places not in the itenerary. She was very efficient in buying the tickets and organizing the trip. Lunch was delicious and filling. Best of all, the tour price includes priority cable car tickets all the way to the top of Mt. Zao. We barely had to line up giving us plenty of time to sightsee and take pictures. Highly recommended!!!

Great package! Less hassle to go to both Yamagata and Sendai from Tokyo. Well-planned itinerary and great tour guide (Ringo). The hotel was very nice too. Covered all attractions and went back to Tokyo on time. Recommended!

At first, I was really worried that the tour wouldn't happen. I inquired with the vendor but didn't receive any response. I asked Klook and they only informed me on the day of the tour at noon (after waiting for 5 days) 😂. Thankfully, the tour leader informed me the night before, so I was able to confirm. Although we didn't get to eat the special lunch, we were lucky enough to still see snow, and it was even snowing in Zao instead of raining. The tour leader also took us to suitable photo spots and helped us take pictures. It was very worthwhile, and we didn't have to drive ourselves to reach two locations. We were originally considering splitting the trip into two days if the tour didn't happen 🤣.

For this independent trip, we purchased the KLOOK Ginzan Onsen + Zao Snow Monster tour. It's a bit of a shame we couldn't book the Zao Ropeway and took the Central Ropeway instead, so we didn't see the snow monster ice trees. However, looking at it from another perspective, we're grateful for the exceptionally good weather that day, which was very convenient for us with young children. The kids had a lot of fun, and we didn't have to worry about them slipping.
