Good boutique hotel run by friendly people and very near to the city area Near to many cheap eateries. Room is clean and comfortable.

Second time staying at Bedrock and it's still as good as the first stay. Really good location, room is clean - there's a hot/cold water dispenser and Nespresso machine

My favourite accommodation on this trip is also well loved by my family too. For 2 rooms with so many beds, the price is definitely worth it. My hub told me that with 7 of us, we can actually just get 1 room. The lady boss is really very friendly and warm. She showed us so many good places to eat and visit with a map. Yup, a map! She got a detailed map ready at her counter provided for her guests. Refer to the pics for the cosy breakfast provided next morning (main - you can choose between Western or nasi lemak). Our first night dinner at Ipoh, refer to pic 2. We ate the infamous Big Mamas beancurd (chrysanthemum sugar with choice of topping - grass jelly and brown sugar with choice of topping red bean etc) just nearby the hotel. Dinner for last night at Ipoh, IT WAS SUPERB! During our stay, we kept watching lots of ppl eating at the "coffeeshop" opposite our hotel through our windows. So we decided to go for it. Refer to our pic. It is a must to try. This shop only serves 2 dishes (chicken wings and Lou Shu Fen). We waited quite a bit for chicken wings, but it's worth waiting. We even packed another 10 to go back to the hotel to eat. Overall, we had a very good stay in Ipoh with a 5 stars rating Lady boss who even went out of her way to get us a 10 seater car for our super early transfer to airport the next morning at 630am and prepare easy breakfast (cereals and sandwiches) at 545am. Usually breakfast starts 730am. So we really appreciate the lady boss for this arrangement. Rating by family: 4.5 out of 5 (will be even better if got swimming pool or entertainment for kids)

Great hotel stay. Will stay here again. Room, location and staff absolutely 10/10. Only one minor thing that can be improved is the breakfast as lack of variety and taste is normal.

My family and I absolutely love this hotel! Friendly and helpful staff and lady boss. Location wise is very convenient as it's located near all the famous Ipoh eateries. Room wise very big, no need to boil water as it has the water dispenser. Drinks inside the fridge are FOC. Bed is comfortable and even comes with bolster. Aircon and water pressure good. Will stay here again if come to Ipoh.

Very cozy and clean hotel. Really recommended. Good location and easy to find a local restaurant nearby. This hotel quite difficult to book due to high demand.
