Things to do in Beitun Main Station

It was a nice break from the back to back travel we did here in Taichung (alishan/sun moon lake) and also from the heat during summer months. Price doesn’t differ that much when you buy it directly.

This hot stone spa is conveniently located in the B2 level of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store, right behind Taichung Station! The staff were very patient and helpful, and the environment was new and clean. Everything from the restrooms to the hair-drying area and the hot stone spa rooms themselves were spotless, though there was a bit of dust in some of the single-person lying areas, specifically in the corners near the walls.

Klook offers great prices. You can upgrade to a themed room for an additional 300, or to a deluxe room for an additional 900. Nikko Hot Springs is very close to the city and the interchange, so you can go and relax there.

The location is easy to find, and it's not difficult to find parking. They start with a foot soak and shoulder/neck massage, followed by a foot massage. During the massage, the therapist will periodically ask about the pressure. The pressure was just right and very comfortable. After the massage, my feet felt significantly lighter.

It's very convenient and close to home. On weekdays, it's not crowded, the environment is comfortable and quiet, and the space is spacious. The therapist is young and beautiful, and her technique is excellent. Birthday celebrants for the current month receive an additional 20-minute session. It's even more cost-effective to purchase through the Klook platform. Highly recommended.

I'm Japanese, and after booking through Klook, I went directly to the reception and was able to receive treatment right away. It was helpful that there was a staff member at the reception who could speak English. The therapist's primary language was likely Taiwanese. She was very kind and made an effort to communicate with me, a Japanese person! The pressure was just right, and the massage was excellent, so I truly hope she stays healthy so I can see her again when I return to Taiwan.

They helped us have a wonderful afternoon, and now we have many photos and videos to look back on. We purchased tickets on Klook; upon arrival, simply show the QR code to be scanned at the counter, and they will arrange your entry time. There are quite a few exhibits; about half are two-dimensional works, a quarter are interactive installations, and a quarter are walk-through scenes. I highly recommend this activity for a summer afternoon; it's suitable for all ages.

Bear Fishing Fun Pier is a unique family-friendly attraction in Taichung, and the only fishing-themed tourist factory in Taiwan. Through interactive exhibits, simulated fishing experiences, and DIY activities, children can learn about marine ecosystems and fishing culture while playing. The environment is clean and comfortable, with abundant facilities, making it suitable for a half-day trip regardless of the weather. It's a high-quality attraction that combines educational value with entertainment.

Therapist No. 66 was, without a doubt, the best I've ever experienced, even after countless treatments worldwide. Their skill made me feel like an empress in a royal palace. Truly top-tier talent, especially considering the environment and facilities!
