we saw the penguin parade 15 years ago, and it's still an amazing experience this time. entry with klook booking was very easy. we started queuing 1 hour before view deck gates open, being among the first in the queue we got the best seats in penguin plus section. the penguins gathered before us to dry off and some were 10cm away from us. no photography at all after sunset but the official website provides photos that you can download. all the staff were friendly and helpful. the gift shops have many nice souvenirs. we went in late oct, we left the apartment at 3pm, arrived at the center at 5pm, viewing deck gates opened at 6.45pm, penguins came at 8.30pm, we were told we have 1h for penguin viewing, then the 1.5h drive back to melbourne, we reached the apartment at 11pm.

🌟 *Unforgettable Day Tour in Australia – Moonlit Zoo & Penguin Parade* 🌟 This tour was hands-down one of the highlights of my trip to Australia! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and thoughtfully managed. The itinerary was seamless, with just the right balance of adventure, relaxation, and awe-inspiring wildlife encounters. Our guide, Rhys, was an absolute gem—funny, talkative, and full of energy. He kept the group engaged with fascinating stories, quirky facts, and a great sense of humor that made the day fly by. His detailed introductions at each stop showed how passionate and knowledgeable he is, and it really enhanced the experience. The Moonlight Zoo was magical, especially seeing animals closely in their natural rhythm. Penguin Parade is pure enchantment. Watching those tiny penguins waddle ashore under the stars was something I’ll never forget. Huge thanks to Rhys and the team for making it so special!

Had a great tour with our friendly guide William! Though unable to visit the Maru Koala Zoo, I had a good time at the other spots.

Tour guide Curtis was very dedicated and attentive, and the itinerary was arranged very appropriately. During the process, he provided explanations in both Mandarin and English. Although the itinerary was rich, it wasn't rushed. Highly recommended!

The meeting place, Mail Exchange Hotel, is very convenient, but the hotel does not allow non-guests to use the restrooms, so prepare in advance. There were about 10 people on a tour bus, and Leelee was our leader and driver for the day, very proactive in explaining things and driving very safely. The animals in the zoo are very close, but it's best to go early in the morning, because when it's too hot, the kangaroos won't come to be fed. The koalas are also very cute. Unfortunately, you can't take pictures on Penguin Island, but the experience is very enjoyable. Remember to wear a lot of clothes, because it's very cold.
